Translucid and Big Trouble and Little China are the only books I get from BOOM! at the moment, it isn't much but I really like what I've read so far.

Justin Jordan, George Perez, James Tynion IV, Marguerite Bennet, Paul Jenkins, Mike Carey....great set of writers. George Perez, Carlos Magno, Michael Dialynias, etc are great artists, too. They really have a good crop of people putting out some good books.

The first trade for the Woods is out today and I'm so hooked on the series. A sci-fi horror Lord of the Flies Tale with both teens and teachers caught up in the scary wilderness of an unknown moon... what more can you ask for? Definitely on my book of the week list.

I've been reading the Woods, great book. Is it going to be an ongoing series? I had it in my head it was limited. Translucid is the other Boom book I've been enjoying the hell out of.

Translucid is 7 issues, I believe, while The Woods is ongoing. Dead Letters is ongoing, too.

I really like Lumberjanes, every issue has been good, if not excellent. Hexed, and Cloaks have also been good so far, and I have high hopes for Sirens and Wild's End.

I'll see your Hexed, CLoaks, Sirens and Wild's End and raise you Butterfly, Clockwork Angels, Day Men, Fiction Squad, The Woods and Thomas Alsop. All of which I think are the cream of the BOOM! crop. Lumbrerjanes has been consistently something for me but I'm not sure the word. It seems to be just slightly outside my likes and I can't quite figure out why. I don't dislike it but it'e not near the top of stack all the others mentioned come first.

I'll definitely be picking up Lumberjanes (!) and Wild's End. I'll probably flip through Sleepy Hollow to see if I want to buy it. I like the show but I'm not certain how it will transition to the comic.
