Nightbreed has been pretty good especially since I didn't really know anything about previous iterations of the property. Butterfly and Memetic as well for me.

Only Adventure Time and Adventure Time Banana Academy out this week but I would very highly recommend their Pen and Ink series Hit 1 out. The 11x17 format is awesome very fans of artwork and creator comments give some inside thoughts on whats going on each page. I have Day Men 1 (2 is solicited next month for January release), Revelations 1 was cancelled for some reason and now Hit 1.

At this point I'm not even sure if i should continue reading Day Men. Its been well over a year and we only have 5 issues. The story is interesting for sure but is it worth the crazy release schedule?

Over the years I have certainly gotten away from wanting monthly books monthly as it seems the industry has proven incapable in many instances of delivering that. There are plenty of excellent books to occupy me until the next installment of a book I really like. Movies aren't on a regular cycle but most of us manage to catch sequels just fine. I think, for me anyway, the key is to lower my expectations and my disappointment is reduced as well. |

BOOM! is doing so many things right. hey are definitely my second favorite publisher behind Image. My heart was broken a little when my LCS stopped getting The Wild's End after the first issue. The trade can't come soon enough!
