From BOOM! this week.
Bravest Warriors #27 Deep State #2 Empty Man #6 Eternal #1 Fraggle Rock Journey To The Everspring #3 George Perez's Sirens #2 Hexed #5 Hit Volume 1 1955 TP Midas Flesh Volume 1 TP, $14.99 Regular Show #18 Robocop Volume 3 Last Stand Part 2 TP Suicide Risk #20 Teen Dog #4 Thomas Alsop #7 Wild's End #4
Man another big week for me from BOOM! Wild's End, Thomas Alsop, Sirens, Fraggle Rock, Eternal, Empty Man and Deep State all make the cut. A much easier cut given that for 2015 I have vowed to purchase no Marvel or DC single issues.

Imagine Agents is really good. I recommend it if you didn't read it in singles.
Interested to see how Rocket Salvage is.

Picked up Rocket Salvage last week. pretty good first issue. thought it was a light fun read and the art was better than I expected.
Did anyone pick up External? Premise seemed cool, but figured I would see what others had to say before I checked it out. So if anyone read let me know what you thought.

The art first off is great, for me. The concept is intriguing but I'm getting kind of worn on the us vs 'the man' concepts. I'm more interested in seeing which side wins. My hope is that it is written so the 'bad guys' win that would be different. I recommend it for fans of near future sci-fi kind of stories.

I looked at it again at my LCS this weekend and I agree the art is nice. I think I'm going to wait for the trade or at least wait and pick up the first arc digitally.

Anyone read anything on Feathers? Just the solicit. I will probably give it a look at the store, thinking about picking it up for my son. Which means I'll end up reading it too.

It's the first of BOOM!'s books this year to sport a 10th anniversary variant cover among it's other attributes.

I picked up 'Clive Barker's Next Testament Vol. 1' from BOOM! for Xmas. Gripping and creepy. That Barker vibe where the pages seem soaked in this knowing sleaze is wonderful. Loved it. Can't wait for Vol 2.
Anybody read it?

I'm really diggin' a higher percentage of BOOM!'s books then any other company.
Deep State and Hexed from the above are great.
Thomas Alsop will probably be killer in trade (I've been reading it monthly).
Wild's End is an awesome mix of scifi and anthropomorphic stuff.
I just read Abigail and the Snowman by Roger Landgridge and it is awesome as well. I would highly recommend it to folks concerned about a lack of all ages books and folks that like lighter fair in their comics.
Lots of really groovy stuff in the pipe for later in the year, as I understand it.
