Nah, not this year. We were hoping to make it on the list fairly last minute but it didn't work out unfortunately. Booooo!!!! I pushed for him from this side too or at least put a bug in Shelton's ear, was hoping to meet him and you...amd on a side note....DO pick up Thor:God of Thunder, and go back and read issue #12(my single issue of 2013)! I tried to make it happen but alas, it was just not meant to be.

I just listened to the latest episode of the Misfits, glad to see you liked my recommendation In The Flesh! After watching the first season I felt about the same as you it seems. I really liked the idea and premise of the show, but at times the execution was a little lacking.

But yeah! It was such a cool concept. The finale of S1 was genuinely heartbreaking though, it made tears well up a bit. I'm interested to see how the second season plays out.

Golden Age Canadian super-heros are coming back at ya! (Saw this on Comicvine) "Toronto-based comic book historian, Rachel Richey is excited to announce that she has obtained the publication rights to characters of Golden Age publisher Bell Features. These Canadian wartime comics will be published as full collections starting with Johnny Canuck, Thunderfist, and Adrian Dingle’s The Penguin. To be reprinted first, Johnny Canuck is part of an incredible stable of Canadian superheroes created during the second world war. Perhaps the most prominent of these figures, Canuck was the personification of the Canadian war effort, facing the Nazi regime and even Hitler himself! Richey will be collecting and reprinting all 28 issues of this character created by Golden Age artist Leo Bachle. This is following the success of Richey’s co-venture with CGA Comics’ publication, Nelvana of the Northern Lights. Nelvana was successfully funded through Kickstarter and a second printing will be released by publisher IDW later this year. Johnny Canuck will be reprinted with the permission of the copyright holders, Corus Entertainment and the National Archives of Canada."

Rachel's actually a good friend of mine. Her and another friend, Hope, were responsible for the Nelvana book, which is BEAUTIFUL. They're super awesome people.

Hey Steph Just listened to the podcast and it was good to hear you return to the show(after being FIRED!!! ) But anyway, i heard something about your pet being sick and i was just wondering if he/she is feeling any better?(if you don't mind talking about it) As a pet owner myself i know how much it can suck if anything is wrong with one of them.

Hey! Thanks so much. It was AMAZING to be back, I missed the guys and the show a lot. Unfortunately Kaylee was super sick and I was royally freaked out. It turns out that she has a digestion problem that can lead to severe constipation and it made her really sick. Sorry if that's all TMI. She had to have a minor procedure done to fix some of it and now she's on a prescribed wet food diet (which she is SO pleased about since wet food has only been a treat for her prior). I'm really happy she's all better and it was something that we could work with as she's my fur baby! They were worried it might be pancreatitis but thankfully that wasn't the case. PHEW!
