so i re-read the whole series last night and yeah that thing with clara has not only been hinted at, Sejic basically put up Neon signs all over the place and i didnt notice it/forgot it after a month
all that back scratching and the sign on her back, in the very first issue she has red glowing eyes when she gets mad, also last issue she had the same glowing eyes and orange cracks across her face when she photobombs marlene.
so yeah its propably another primordial in claras body.

i liked the episode for what it wanted to be.
but to take it in comic terms. this was a one-shot or annual that compliments the ongoing story but doesnt advance it. so as an episode in an ongoing story i didnt like it that much as some kind of special this was a very good episode

i guess this thread is abut Evolve.
ill pass on it. if it were like 35-40$ i would propably buy it but in my opinion its just not enough content to justify the 60$ just like BF:Hardline.

yeah cant wait for #6. this series was a great read. even though it turns out i dont like the anthropomorphic stuff that much and would have preferred human characters. but thats just personal taste

I would pack some Snyder/capullo batman on that list its the only DC book I read and its awesome especially now that everything seems to fall into place. And you are lacking DC on your list

its the arrow formula, have nothing happen each episode with a lot of namedropping/cameos and a cliffhanger so people will watch the next episode.

nice to hear you enjoyed Death Vigil. but i guess 6 is a weird jumping on point because you basically missed 5 issues of character and world building. this issue was really a breaking point in the story. btw issue 1&2 are here for free: nebezial.deviantart.com/also have fun with sunstone, its incredible. im not into erotica, because i kinda feel like a creep reading it, but this book is just so much more. i tried going back reading a lot of top cow stuff and Steph is definitely right, its hard to get through, i like the world but the early issues are the absolute opposite of what comics try to do today. concerning GA, sadly i couldnt get into that book, love the art though (exept i hate the skirts too, they totally take me out of it). i think the problem is, that the group of people this book is aiming at, imo mainly young girls/boys, just doesnt read comics or is already reading manga. whem most boys go into a comic shop they want the super hero stuff, i bet most boys reading this book for the first time throw it away as being "girls stuff" and, at least where i live, most of the girls read manga and throw away comic books as boy stuff. so there is just a disconnect that we as readers, and especially the storeowners have to close, to make these books viable and remove the stigmata of comicbooks. which we of course can only close in having those books. its a bit of a catch-22. and because of me not liking this book im very grateful for people like you to champion for it again and again.

its save to say that this was the turning point in the series while 1-5 was a lot of world and character building i think its going to get crazy from now on. cant wait for the last 2 issues.
SPOILER for issue 6:
im still in denial, i just dont want sam to be dead.

i read digitally on a 7" google nexus tablet and love it i dont mind the smaller screen because it perfectly fits into my jacket/bermuda pocket. i dont use guided view and dont zoom in 90% of the time either.
when i was searching for a good tablet the only thing that i found really important was an HD display. i really wouldnt try to save money on that its just easier on the eyes, also newer displays dont flicker like a lot of old ones do.
in the end, like i said, i ended up with the nexus 7 because i found it was just the most bang for my buck and i didnt want to carry a bag with me everywhere.
