thats what i was thinking and still hope it will be, but issue 2 seems to point in a direction of some kind of team deathmatch the prisoners will be send to. i hope its just an arc and not the main plot

i liked the second issue, especially the treadmill sequence with the fight breaking loose in the background, but i kinda fear that this will turn out another Battle Royale clone

ok im now 8 hours into this game and i have to say its everyting i hoped it would be, if you are interested in a tough as nails roguelike with a game mechanic you never had before go buy this.
the affliction system is so fun and innovative. and the narrator is great, as someone who likes the idea of a narrator ingame but thinks that the bastion narrator was too much, this is perfect, because he only acts when soemthing major happens and he really gets you in the mood.
i really cant recommend it enough

as someone who lived in a region without any comicbook shops whatsoever and even bookshop/librarys around do not have any western comics i cant recommend Marvel Unlimited enough to get started reading. of course you need to be interested in marvel stuff. just dive in and try everything and if you are like me and want to start at the beginning, which is pretty much impossible and NOT recommended, start with annihilation and end up with Guardians of the Galaxy.
Also start listening to podcasts (make sure the podcasts have different tastes), roam forums and follow your favourite creators on twitter (make sure you follow gillen, mckelvie and Zdarsky there should be a reality tv series just about them talking its crazy entertaining sometimes). talking and reading/listening about comics is as fun as reading them, also you get pointed to awesome creator owned stuff. if something peeked your interest go to online delivery services of comics or comixology.
Welcome to the awesome world of comics.

ok uim listening to your podcast right now and i havent heard the whole thng but i have to protest, David Hasselhoff is not popular in germany, although it is a common misconception fueled by him thinking that he is, because apparently in his mind he is solely responsible for the merge of West and East Germany. rant over

RR was a good event with an awesome Main Event, that will definitely be a match of the year contender. but yeah the end of the rumble was just awful and i fear that Reigns may not recover from it.
after watching raw i think the best way to go for them to save Romans career would be to let him work the "wrestling is in my genes angle" as a heel with Heyman as manager so he doesnt have to speak.

i was aware of that movie and exactly as you said theres just nothing that screams Fun in the new movie
thats propably why i like the MCU movies so much. they just balance fun and the grim like not many others.
also after watching the trailer i really miss old school movie scores that one just screams adventure, another thing you dont get much anymore.

this is my favourite comic on the shelves since #1 came out. and toxicsooner you are welcome Just some information: Death Vigil is not a mini series. after the first arc (8 issues) there will be a character focused 4 issue mini-series and after that its going to be ongoing and the first TPB will be solicited for may according to his deviantart. btw here is a nice interview with him they call it a review but it really isnt all-comic.com/2015/interviewreview-death-vigil-6/i think his "writing" process is really interesting you really dont get that from any other comic creator too bad ill have to wait another week for the next issue since i always get my comics a week late

im so glad i gave this book a try after initially being repelled by the subject matter but wanting to help out funding my one true comic love, "Death Vigil". im not terribly interested in romance and i cant help but feel like a creep reading overly erotic stuff. but Sejic delivers and made me into what i hate most, a shipper.
i just love sejic. despite being an awesome artist he really shows his talent as a writer. his humor just hits a spot with me and his characters are all clearly destinctive in looks and behavior. and this shows here as well Ally, Lisa and Alan are just so likeable and relateable. the subject matter is handled in such a respectful way and offered, for me at least, a good bit of insight.
i think one of the best things you can say about this book, that even though it is so damn sexy, still i never thought "ooh sex" i was just happy for those two to have found each other, this really isnt a story about BDSM but a story about 2 women trying to live out their hobby and finding love while doing it.
about his art, ot really is something special. sometimes it looks more like a rough sketch, other times its highly detailed, even photorealistic and that sometimes all in 1 panel, his fantasy Epic Ravine is the best example of that.
Sejic just shows me again why he is my favourite comic creator right now, and i really hope that his new job as Rat Queens artist, and Sunstone 1&2 being Nr1 Bestselling Romance novels on amazon helps him to get noticed by a larger audience, not just as an artist but also as a writer. He definitely deserves it
now ill try to wait for volume 2 in print instead of diving into the webcomic
PS: there is actually another Webcomic based in the same Universe with the occasional crossover, as mentioned in the great afterword by Sejic's wife Linda called Bloodstain and its also really worth checkig out.

i kinda made it my internet objective to promote Sejic everywhere i can hes just way too good at what he does to be overlooked like he is. also for everyone interested in more of his work here is his deviantart with the first 2 issues of Death Vigil: nebezial.deviantart.comand his other Deviantart(he has one for pretty much every project) for his first TPB of his Fantasy Epic Ravine which will continue just like Sunstone as a webcomic and TPB: wanderers-of-ravine.deviantart.com/
