If true, that's frustrating.

Personally I think 8 issues is pretty reasonable for a mystery such as this to permeate. Great cover

I feel like that's something they probably would've been smarter to fit into one arc. Ending the #6 with it would've felt right; pushing it into the second arc seems pretty drawn out, to me. Great cover, though.

I've loved this book and have no problem with the pacing.

#6 came out this past week and Odinson is going through his list (and we see Jane Foster's current state ) while Thor faces quite a cliffhanger

so this is one of the titles on the list of "33 books that will end in one form or another after Secret Wars" Who knows what the landscape will look like post-Secret Wars/post-Thors; I imagine the character (whoever she may be) is popular enough and certainly the title is way-beyond-popular-enough that this means very little in terms of "will this book continue in an 'all-new' format after the event" because of course it will, and of course she will, but still, this is just one more instance where the Big Summer Event is fucking up my flow. Just why, Marvel. Why disrupt everything and put a massive stop sign in the middle of all your current stories and "teh universes will change foreverrz" and such. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. www.themarysue.com/marvel-ending-captain-marvel-comic/

I'm pretty sure it was poorly worded and these are the titles put on hold while Secret Wars ramps up

There will be a Jason Aaron cop title Named Thors on the other side of Secret Wars.

Doesn't anyone else feel like the mystery for who lady Thor is was somewhat resolved in this issue? Or do we think this is a trick?

I don't know what to think. All I have to say is that page with Thor and his ladies, gave me a couple goosebumps

Cap - It definitely seems so, unless there's some curveball which we haven't accounted for.
Jon - Yes! Dauterman is one badass illustrator; he sort of came out of nowhere over the past 2 years or so. i don't know what else he did besides Cyclops and Supurbia???

I think it's a red herring. I still think it's someone else than we've been shown.

The first book I bought with him on it was Cyclops 1, he killed there too. But Thor is perfect for him. I hope he stays there, and marvel doesn't steal him for avengers. I heard him tell a fun story about becoming the artist for Thor. He said he was doing Cyclops then went in vacation with his wife. When he came back, his boss was like hey Russell, by the way your doing art on Thor now. I thought that was a funny little story. He told it much better.
I hope it isn't Roz, I hope it's a swerve. But it's looking a lot like it is. I know art sometimes varies in comics, even the same issue. But I was trying hard to compare roz's chin and cheeks to Thor, and to me, it looks like the shape of her face.

I think it's a red herring. I still think it's someone else than we've been shown. Me too. It seems to me like it would be way too heavyhanded and plodding to do two issues in a row pointing to a particular person, and then have the payoff be that same person. That wouldn't be very clever, and I think Jason Aaron's way too good to waste our time in that way I seem to remember Aaron saying in the letters column that it's someone who was on Thor's list, and personally i've already crossed off Roz, Sif, Loki (hah), Idunn, Tarene, Lorelei, Enchantress, Karnilla, Jane, Freyja, Kelda, Tana, and Angela. So my current guess is what my good buddy Patty's been saying since last summer: Valkyrie (Brunnhilde)

Be warned guys, spoilers are EVERYWHERE for Thor #8. Be mindful until you read the issue.
