I love the idea and the casting has been good I think however I'm not much of a fan of what Fox puts out or has put out TV wise so I'm a little weary of that.

I'm not one to get to concerned with casting and such. You need to see the show to get its true quality. Unless it's the fantastic four movie. Even I think that was terribly cast lol.

Just saw a trailer for this show, and it looked pretty good. It could always disappoint when it airs but it definitely has potential. Only think that Jim Gordon should have a mustache, but maybe they will get to that later

Only think that Jim Gordon should have a mustache, but maybe they will get to that later Most of the trailer looked good except some small things (when bruce's parents are shot that blood isn't needed, catwoman still bugs me and Jim Gordon needs a mo.) but pretty good for the most part.

List of villians said to be making an appearance in the show at some capacity: Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Joker, Scarecrow
So excited for this show!

When a producer (i think it was a producer) said it was going to be better than Nolan's movies my excitement went down for it.

Don't think it's been mentioned here yet, but I'll say it anyway. Originally this was going to be just about Gordon. Ok. Then, the episodes 51 and 52 of Kevin Smith's Fat Man on Batman came out. On this podcast, Kevin Smith and Paul Dini talk about their fanfic show Shadow of the Bat. This show is about a young Bruce Wayne in prep school. A lot of similarities here.
Two months later, they announce that the show will now have a young Bruce Wayne, in prep school. Listen to the podcast if you like and chin in. Could be a coincidence, who knows.

So Fox have ordered a second season, and now Netflix has paid 7 figures in order have the show after season 1 finishes. Safe to say this show looks like it might actually be good.

I'm not a DC guy, and just recently have started reading Snyder's Batman, but this show looks awesome. Got a friend who saw the pilot (at SDCC?) and says it's really good

I have set my expectations pretty low (Ivy Pepper? Just . . . why?) but I still want it to be good. I never got into Arrow or Agents of Shield but the tone of Gotham seems different and I'm more invested in the premise.

Well, it was a solid premiere.....some things here and there need some work (still can't with the whole Ivy Pepper). Both Bullock and Cobbelpot stole the show! And I like that they are using the Earth-One Alfred's character in this.

My expectations were low, and I was pleasantly surprised. The whole Ivy Pepper thing is stupid and pointless, that's probably the only negative thing to say about it. I can't stand Jada Pinkett Smith, but even she was tolerable in this. The dude who play Cobblepot was excellent.
