I doubt we have. Remember the machine earlier in the series used by the one old lover of his (I forget her name) and later by him to have "Otto Octavius" appear so Peter's dissertation wasn't discredited? Maybe his consciousness gets downloaded into that or something and he can run around either as a villain or a hero.

I don't think we've seen the last of Otto at all. Peter will find a way to save him. And maybe we see Otto move on from NYC like kaine and start his own journey.

No, that's what you get when you mess with the Rattlesnake.

I just recently started reading superior within the last few months. I wasn't expecting much just because anyone I asked about it didn't care for it but I ended up really liking it. I started with an annual and have been reading Goblin Nation. I would like to find some older issues from the series I missed out on. Any suggestions?

Then just go from #1-31, it is really one of the few series that I would say you should really start at the beginning of the run to get the full enjoyment. I would suggest either going for the trades, or you can utilize Marvel Unlimited that have almost every issue up to what you've read so far.

Doesn't compare to having a real comic in hand but will be way cheaper and faster. Thanks!

It was an ok ending....he reveal of Norman's new face was.....ummm.....something. I like how many people were quick to believe Peter's "my brain was swapped with Dock Ock" (loved Miguel's response). But yeah, many things in this issue felt more as set up for Amazing than a real ending (issue #30 would been an awesome ending honestly).

I'm rather surprised that there was no appearance by Ock in the final issue. I really thought there would be kind of a send off for the character in the final issue. Also I really don't know if I fully believe that the guy in the goblin outfit was Norman, I'm really thinking that it was someone who was mentally manipulated to throw the scent off of Liz and Normie Osborn.

I dunno, his monologue in the train kinda made it clear it was Norman (now sane since the serum is out of from his system)....if it was someone else either that scene makes no sense or Slott should have him talk with someone over a radio to let us wonder. At least that's how I see it.

For me superior peaked at 30. Thirty was the height of a year and a half's worth of story, character development was running at full steam. The final page was just one of the most beautiful moment's in recent Spider-man. So yes, superior was at it's peak at 30, but... stories don't end at their peak, plots resolve, characters get closure, bodies are buried. Maybe it was being deprived of Peter for longer than anyone would've like. Superior 31 may have been one of the finest stories I've read recently. I shed a tear during Peter's line "and no one dies while I'm around." I couldn't be happier with the way this story ended. I'm looking forward to re-reading this entire run.

Each issue of the series really advances the main plot substantially. Almost every one has an exciting twist or reveal. There are no filler issues.
