I'm on New Avengers, Avengers A.I., and Mighty Avengers over here.
New Avengers is ultra-high concept and I love the idea of the team being egotistical enough to hide plans from the rest of the Avengers. It's a book that demands your attention, and even the minor plot threads have massive implications like the Namor/Black Panther stuff.
Avengers A.I. is a wonderful idea but is finding it's legs. Sweet and funny with massive potential. The art is not to my liking but I hold out hope for a change.
Mighty Avengers was a title I thought I'd try and drop immediately but I keep picking them up. Something is pulling me back I can't quite put my finger on at the moment.

You may want to wait until issue 18 to jump on, if you haven't been reading the recent issues. 17 is the finale for whats been building since issue 5.

Heyo,
Finally got around to reading New Avengers #14 and um....yeah I'm not even sure what to say except the pacing in this book really is a drag. In this issue we get yet another example of worlds coming together at the zone of incursion. The only difference in this was you got a glimpse of what is shaping up to be some more big baddies(don't have the book right with me so I'm drawing a blank on their names), builders(?). So yeah a page or two showing their power(which is considerable), a few absolutely excellent pages dealing with Dr. Strange, and the rest is the same stuff as the prior 2, 3, 15? issues. All these incursion issues should have been shown and wrapped up across an issue, IMO.
I'm hoping that next issue there will be a significant amount of progress, and by that I mean some actual movement in the story, not just another incursion in which the only difference is we get to see Dr. Strange rip apart the alternate earth.

I would like the same, but I'm pretty sure the next issue will be just what you said.

Right now I'm reading:
AI Assemble Uncanny
I really love all 3 of these books and I'll be sad when I realize that come June, only one of these titles will still exist.
I read Mighty's first arc and enjoyed it. I only dropped it due to monetary reasons. Otherwise I would've kept reading it. Al Ewing is doing a great job. And I can't stand anything Hickman Avengers related so that cuts out those books.
Well at least Uncanny will still be around. And who knows? I might continue to pick up Mighty in trade.

What issue is suppose to be AI's last? I've heard differently from all of my sources but it's supposed to be between #12-15. I think it really all depends on how quickly Marvel can get a team for the Hank Pym/Ant-Man book. Case in point? Over at DC, Larfleeze was supposed to end two months ago but is still continuing as of yesterday's May solicits. The reason? Finding a team for the book that's replacing its slot (the Green Lantern weekly probably) has proven to be more difficult than originally thought. It's a whole lot of moving parts.

This months solicits show that Hickman will no longer be a writer for Avengers World. Personally, that means I'll be dropping this book most likely.

And I can't stand anything Hickman Avengers related so that cuts out those books. Just curious, what is it about Hickman's Avengers that you dislike? I know this is going to sound like a total cop out but besides the art, pretty much everything. I didn't like the plot, the characterization, the dialogue, the obtuse nature of storytelling where nothing and everything are happening at the same time and the fact that trade reading is pretty much the only way to read this book and have it make sense. I don't say this without any research though. I didn't just read one issue of Avengers/New Avengers and go meh. I've read Avengers and New Avengers through Infinity (in trade) but it just doesn't do anything for me. In fairness, I did actually enjoy one issue: the casino issue. That was kind of fun. If you love Hickman's Avengers books that's totally fine. I'm not sitting up here on a high horse saying "You read THAT? Feh!" It obviously has its fans and I DO love Hickman's indie work like Manhattan Projects and East of West, but his Marvel stuff just isn't for me.

Yeah, I can see that. Just curious. I think part of what you dislike is a big part of what I like about it, which is interesting.
