Well I guess I don't need to finish reading old man logan since now we know he comes out the other side. Kinda wish they wouldn't announce these thingsbefore the event is over. No suspense.. If you like the story there's no reason to stop. true, but I hate knowing the ending ahead of time

Why is Spider-Man driving Deckards car?
No but in all seriousness there is not a single book on this roster that I want to read. I stress "want" because there is one book I feel like I have to read out of obligation. And thats not a good reason to enjoy any form of art. Guess it's bye-bye Marvel thread for a while.

I didn't see Remender or Marguerite Bennett in the list of creators... Yay, Slott's back on ASM... A book that he has no passion for since Superior, should be great? . Sorry, being a pessimist, I've been drinking and reading older marvel on unlimited... ??

Jason, So far, (there are still at least a dozen titles that have yet to be announced) Marguerite Bennett is writing Angela, and as you are, I imagine, I'm hoping for something else from her pen. I thought that she'd be perfect on Captain Marvel, and I surely wouldn't mind seeing her name attached to a Fantastic Four re-launch! According to his website, Rick Remender is taking a break from Marvel to concentrate on creator-owned work, which will give him more time with his family, as well. Cheers!

Thanks for the heads up Bob. I was hoping Ms. Bennett would get an X-title, but I like your idea of her getting the the fantastic 4. I think she would do well with that. While I'm sad to hear Remender won't be on anything right now, I'm a bigger fan of his creator owned stuff, so I'm ok with that. Low is awesome and Tokyo Ghost looks like it could be cool. I finally got a chance to look through the announced titles more closely and with less wine in my system. I gotta say I'm looking forward to quite a few of them. The team book line-ups look dynamic and fresh and the solo books don't appear to be the same retreads I anticipated. Even my pessimism over spider-man has lessened. Although I would like to see some fresh blood on that book & was holding out the tiniest of hope for a Peter/MJ reunion, but I kinda like the idea of a successful Peter. Marvel may actually pull this off...

Jason, I'm still not sure about the over-all direction or settings until the books actually come out, but as you may have heard, there are some titles that I'll try, some more (like Silver Surfer) that I hope are coming back, and a few, such as a Jessica/Luke team-up (by Al Ewing!) or a Black Panther series that get announced at San Diego. I was particularly unhappy with the first "Renew Your Vows" issue, as I thought that we would revisit the MC2 world of MJ, Peter and May, but alas, it twas not to be. ps) There's been some great discussions on Spidey and modern comics between Dan Slott, John Byrne, and the posters over at Byrne Robotics! rrr

If I am being honest I am just not that excited by any of the books that Marvel has announced which is a huge shame. I have always loved the X-Men but I am just not feeling excited about the books they will be putting out.
I feel like I am slightly disillusioned with the way Marvel has been for awhile now with their constant relaunches and the fact they double ship a lot of their books(getting more than one book of a series a month can be great but not when you're on a budget and you can only buy so much).
I really do hope that over the next few months they release more information on the X books that gets me hyped, but as of right now it looks like I won't be picking up anything from Marvel.

dont feel too bad bro, im in the same boat. Although i will be dropping everything except for the X and Inhuman books, including Ms Marvel and All-new Wolverine. That will be the extent of my Marvel reading, until they bring back the Fantastic Four. When i saw squadron supreme i threw my hands up and said WHY. What a waste of an incredible creative team.

So I was kinda hoping the multiverse would stay intact in some part.
I really wanted to stay in the future imperfect universe or civil war universe for awhile like I am doings with injustice
This looks like just a way to pick and choose the best versions of characters from each universe and mash together into one
Maybe the missing 20 not in the list will be that?
I am looking forward to Karnak but only because of Ellis writing

It's jut a bit of a disappointment really. I have always loved the X-Men since I was a child, this will probably be the first time since I started reading comics that I m not picking up an ongoing X-Men book. As I previously mentioned though I am just unhappy with Marvels methods. I don't like the constant relaunches, I can't afford to keep up with books when they double ship and then get pulled into a crossover event with another series I am not already picking up. So at this point I am doing the only thing I can and voting with my wallet by not picking up any of the books.
