Lindsey made a great suggestion in our Feedback thread about starting a recommendations thread for people to share their recs. we've heard from some of you that the recommendations are your favorite part of the show, so this thread makes perfect sense!
If you've got a thing or two you think Missfit listeners would enjoy, let us know!

This is Lindsey's suggestions from the other thread: Hello! I always enjoy listening to the show! You girls are doing a great job! The recommendations portion is a favorite for me & I'm always adding to my wish-list. I didn't see a recommendations topic on the forum but I wanted to return the favor & recommend a couple things! Maybe we could start a recommendations topic, though? I just started reading a book called Dark Sparkler by Amber Tamblyn. She's a poet & actress. It's a brand new book. This collection of poems are about actresses who have tragically passed away. It's dark but so interesting & Amber's writing is beautiful. To accompany the poetry, you get some really interesting illustrations as well. I'm still reading it but I'm enjoying it so far. My other recommendation are a collection of comics by Monica Gallagher. I found her comics on Etsy! (LipsticKissPress) Her Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five comics are a lot of fun! I've read 1-3 & just ordered more the other day. The art is lovely & the characters are a lot of fun! Let me know what you think if you decide to check out any of these recommendations! I would love to hear your thoughts. - Lindsey

I've had this one on my mind since I first heard your Neil Gaiman show. There is a really great graphic novel adaptation of Coraline, adapted and illustrated by the amazing P Craig Russell. It's based on the book, so Coraline looks and acts differently than in the film version. It's pretty darn cool

There wasn't an episode this week, but I wanted to share a shoujo manga I finished over the past weekend: Alice in the Country of Hearts. I was hesitant about reading it, but I ended up loving the crazy scenario. Manga is based on a reverse-harem dating game, meaning one main lady and several potential suitors vying for your attention. It's a retelling of the Alice in Wonderland story, only the creatures she encounters are strangely attractive and attracted to her. I don't have a favorite guy (ok, maybe the knight of hearts). Main girl lacks spunk, but I've been told she has more personality when you read the offshoots where she ends up with different guys in the series.

Ladies, you have to watch Nana. It's like required viewing for those of us in our 20s. Edited to add: nana-confessions.tumblr.com/ <-- all the reasons why you need to check out this manga and anime.
