Comixology has a 99 cents sale on Punisher Max, and a book I'm not familiar with called Moth City By Tim Gibson. Anyone got any opinions on Moth City, is it worth checking out?

I've enjoyed Moth City. It's from Mark Waid's site/publisher, Thrillbent. You can read it for free at thrillbent.com It's a semi-motion comic about this mysterious, dictatorial city and some insurgency that ensures. I've enjoyed it, and the art is pretty great.

Not sure if this post goes here, but I have given Comixology feedback on four different occasions. Each time I made a point that sales needed to be more frequent and bigger. My contention is that we consumer won't pay more than $.99 for a digital license to access the comics. The product isn't tangible, and for me, that should devalue it to some degree. Am I alone in this? Do many of you who buy on Comixology, actually pay full price for comics and isn't that kind of silly? Looks like no one has responded to this yet... I basically agree. I buy only digital comics and will not pay full price, which is why I don't have hardly any recent Marvels. I hit the 99 cent sales or wait a month or two for the price reductions. I try not to pay more than $1.99, though sometimes I will for a high page count book or annual (after the price reduction). For example, I did end up paying $3.99 each for Locke & Key: Alpha 1 & 2 a month after each came out, which I think were originally $4.99 at first. I just had to have them, even though I know they'll eventually be on sale for 99 cents - L&K gets put on sale once or twice a year. You can't blame Comixology for the prices. It's the individual publishers that set them. Complain to them.

As someone who reads mostly DC and Image books, all of the recent Marvel sales on Comixology have been a great way for me to dive into the universe. Initially, I was only picking up Daredevil, Captain Marvel, and Hawkeye from Marvel, but now I've picked up a lot of Captain America between the beginning of Remender's Dimension Z storyline, and now The Winter Soldier collections too. I also picked up some of the Punisher MAX issues. I'll have to stay disciplined, otherwise it's a slippery slope!

This is very fortuitous as I had just started reading Captain Marvel this week and I had all the issues of it and Avengers Assemble up to right before Enemy Within. I came very close to buying those EW issues and then suddenly they went on sale. Thanks, Marvel!

Marvel is really great with their sales. I would love to buy more DC books cause I'm really digging the new 52 but I like to get through all the books I've purchased on sale before I even consider paying regular price for a digital book. DC rarely has sales, but I don't think I could pay more than $1.99 for a book

Marvel Mondays are cool for buying some books you wouldn't normally bother with. I read loads of venom stuff last year that I would never of bothered with if it wasn't so cheap!!

Comixology has a couple of great sales again. There's a Matt Fraction sale that includes Hawkeye, Immortal Iron Fist, Defenders, Mighty Thor and Invincible Iron Man. And also a Quantum and Woody sale from Valiant, i,ve only read the first two issues so i,m gonna buy some.

Just saw that there's a 7-day Unwritten sale on Comixology. Never read any of it but i heard its kind of like Fables so i'm gonna try it out. What do people think of Unwritten? I bought the first 12 issues from the sale but probably am not going to be able to read them before the sale ends. Is it worth buying more at the sale price? Unwritten is a brilliant series that only seems to get better the more i read it. i'm severely behind on it, but i would say that you won't go wrong getting as much as you feel like you can afford while it's on sale. can't say enough good things about it.

And yet another Comixology sale. There's a one day sale for Green Lantern including Venditti's run on GL and GL Corps and Charles Soule's Red Lanterns.
I've only read some of the Geoff Johns Green Lantern but i'm also interested in this stuff, do any of you guys know if its any good?

I've heard pretty good things for Green Lantern and Red Lanterns, I'm really surprised they are doing a 99 cent sell on such recent issues of all these series.

I stopped keeping current with the GL books a little bit after the Johns run and was just about to buy all these anyway, so the sale came at a really good time for me. Looking forward to seeing how the new guys handle the GLverse. Yes, DC does not often put such recent issues on sale, so this is a really good chance to check it out. Great jumping-on point.
