I haven't picked up The Massive yet; was waiting for the trades, and for someone to tell me whether it was worth picking up or not!
i do rather enjoy Fatman on Batman myself, especially when Paul Dini is on the show. the Animated Series is one of my all time favorite things, and i like just how enthusiastic he and Kevin Smith are about it.

Personally, I have really enjoyed The Massive although I've read mixed reviews elsewhere. I love the artwork and gradually learning more about the dynamics and backstory of the different members of Ninth Wave. Some have said the story's too much of a slow burn, which has some truth if you're reading it month to month. I think reading it in trade is the way to go. Also, I thought it was interesting that not too long after Kevin Smith and Paul Dini spent a whole episode fake-pitching a TV show depicting Bruce Wayne's teenage years, we get word that Fox's Gotham TV show will no longer focus on Jim Gordon, but rather Bruce Wayne's early years. Coincidence???

Haha, yeah. I might be excited for the Gotham show, but it can never live up to what Smith and Dini pitched in that episode.

That podcast was a fun listen and I would totally watch the show. You can tell that Kevin Smith and Paul Dini have such a positive rapport and enjoy geeking out together.

Where do you rank Garth Ennis's Preacher jig2? What did you make of Jason Aaron's Punisher Max?

In no particular order some of the best comics I've ever read:
Claremont's X-Men Lemiere's Underwater welder Morrison's JLA John's Green Lantern
And (easy answer here I know, but) Alan Moore's Watchmen!

Locke & Key has been mentioned but that's because it is that damn good. Maybe not a top 5, but top 15 is Ed Brubaker's 'Rise and Fall of the Shiar Empire' in the late 400's of Uncanny X-Men. Civil War and Infinity also need mention as far as Marvel Uni goes. I read the first two omnibus' of Walking Dead in about a week for what that's worth.
