I don't think theres a thread like this anywhere on the forum so i'll make it. One of my favorite things about comics is collecting original art, Its my main priority at conventions. these are amazing pieces of art that are only ever seen by close friends and my self, so I think this could be a place to share art you bought at shows or online or whatever.

I've been trying to learn digital painting, so thought I would share my Wonder Woman.
Like many I am influenced by Bob's passionate feelings towards this character so I decided to try to create a retro 70s feel Gal Gadot in the current BvS costume but looking a touch happier!

Simon, That was very nicely done; you seamlessly melded the various styles and eras into something quite unique--I love it! Ms. Gadot's costume in the film would be so much better with that spark of color that you used in your image, as you can see from the Deviant Art post below:

Means a lot that you like it Bob, you know when you have a concept but it is formless and your brain can't quite shape it as you want - I wanted to bring some Lynda Carter 70s happiness to Ms Gadot's turn.
I do think that adding some colour would be well received that DeviantArt looks dynamic and powerful to me.

Simon,
Without the color, she's more Xena than Diana!
I know that I've said it on-air, but in Dr. Marston's original, Wonder Woman comes to America clad in red, white, and blue so as to alert all those in Man's World that she is an ally of the democratic powers in their fight against fascism, so that motif has always been a part of the character. Here's hoping that in her solo film, we'll see that look!
