Thanks to all of you who helped me make my first column of Musings of a Missfit so much fun! I'll be looking for an ongoing supply of questions to address in the column, so please keep them coming. Anything and everything goes, hopefully it will be a great way to get to know all of our awesome Talking Comics contributors.
You can post your questions here or tweet them to me. You're also welcome to email me at melissa@the-missfits.com. Can't wait to hear from everyone!

So, I just watched the Jack Reacher movie, and thought it was okay. It was A GOOD TIME. But I understand that some fans hated it because it didn't align with the books (which I did not and will never read).
My question is: is there a time when your fandom for something ruined your enjoyment of it ... something you otherwise would have enjoyed. In other words, has fandom ever lowered your quality of life?
First column was great!

Hey Melissa, hope you excuse my babbling on (about parenthood, women in comics, etc) when we met on Saturday night--I was overtired and punchy from NYCC! Anyway, nice to meet you, and keep up the good work on the Missfits--Carolyn

Anyway, nice to meet you, and keep up the good work on the Missfits--Carolyn Ah, Carolyn! I have been meaning to shoot you an email, I wasn't sure how else to reach you and say that I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and our conversation about the perils & joys of parenthood. I hope we get to talk more in the future. Are you on Twitter?

Is there anything that you watch/read etc that you know is problematic but enjoy anyway? How do you balance acknowledging problematic media with enjoyment of a story/a character/a style? Is there anything that is a deal-breaker for you (a particular sexist/racist/homophobic trope, particular theme etc)?
Iiiii sincerely hope that made sense.
