Deadpool

im so excited for this everything the promotion team does for this movie is excellent you really feel that its a passion project.

they even made all my friends hyped for the movie, who arent perticularly big fans of comic book movies and dont read or know much about comics.

Awesome Deadpool movie. 9 out of 10 and it would have been a 10 if the voices in his head were there. That would have been really hard to do so I'm not surprised they didn't but still would have made it perfect. The opening credits was funny so you know the rest of the film was going to be a laugh.

I have never read any Deadpool comics and I really enjoyed the movie. I went in with little knowledge of the character (other than what the excellent marketing team for this film provided in advance) and no real expectations other than having a fun time. It was violent, funny, self-aware, wonderfully shot & fantastically cast. There is a bit of a slowdown in the middle but the pacing picks up again for the finale.

Like everyone else has said here I really loved the film. I took my Wife along as well and she thoroughly enjoyed it which was a surprise because she wasn't really to keen beforehand. I think this movie came around at a perfect time as it was a great palette cleanser by presenting a completely new type of Superhero movie for general audiences to see.

I guess I didn't see the issue with Vanessa. While she was a driving force in the story, the character was a supporting character. And while she wasn't an ever present focal point of the middle part of the story, she was still a driving factor throughout. And I didn't feel she lost any of her agency as the events of the movie played out. Had she been presented as super powered or something in the beginning and then reduced to a plot device at the end, I would agree with the issues. But, I felt she was consistently characterized throughout the movie.
