So Peter Capaldi is now here.
What are your thoughts on him in debut and the episode itself?
Personally I liked Capladi's perfromance but the first half of the episode is slow and boring but the 2nd half picks up but not enough to redeem itself

This was probably my least favorite post regeneration episode of any even beating out Davidson's unraveling of Baker's (the bestest Dr ever) scarf.
I found him to be out of character for most of the episode. I can see plenty of potential with the actor but I just hope the writing will improve.

I enjoyed the episode for the most part. It did not need to be as long as it was though. I really enjoy Clara as well, she may be my favorite companion next to Rose. I'll be sad when she leaves

So far this is by far the darkest I can remember a Dr being. Not really sure I like the change in character.

Not really digging the change, just doesn't feel right. We've been trying to hang in there, but find myself not real excited about watching the show these days. My 17-year old daughter, who was a huge fan until this season, has written the show off entirely.

Naa don't write it off. The cool Thing about Dr Who is if you just wait a little bit there will be another actor.
