It’s our first ever listener question spectacular featuring questions from you, our listeners! We’re so excited to be doing this show and answering an abundance of amazing things that you guys have sent in to us over the past couple of weeks via the forums, Twitter and email. We answer as many questions as we possibly can in the second half of the show and have an absolute blast doing it.
The first half of the show is, of course, some banter as well as a few of our favourite things right now aka our Recommendations. The things on our list this week are: The Three Little Pigs, King of Tokyo, Klingon Pop Warrior, Two Clones Magazine, Pee-Wee’s Playhouse on Blu-ray, House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski, Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
Our next show will air on September 15 and it will feature our 5 favourite characters of all-time from a variety of different mediums such as comics, movies, TV, anime, manga, books etc. If you want to share YOUR list with us, make sure to get it in before September 14 via email, Twitter, the forum or whatever (the links are below). We can’t wait to hear what yours are!

I already mentioned it on twitter but I was so surprised that you guys got that my name was a Pokemon reference! Usually I have to spell it out to people for them to understand.
I'm so glad that you guys mentioned Harley Quinn in New 52. She's such a fantastic character and I really wanted to like her new series but the whole mess with the reboot really brought me down. I'll probably still buy the trade though (Harley and Poison Ivy need to interact more <3).
I love that you guys talked about 'geekiness' as an 'intensity of love' for something. My nerd origin stories also rest firmly in the Greek mythology and war history books that my parents let me read from a very young age. I used to be a theatre kid and I remember reading Tanglewood Tales in my make-up chair at around 8 years old and having the adult actors ask me to summarise what myth I had read that day. Pokemon, Digimon and Power Rangers brought me more into the pop culture geek world.
Also: Studio Ghibli for an adaption of Dahl's The Twits. Naturally.
