So, I just recently started getting into podcasts for my long drives for work. Being that video games is my favorite hobby (much to the annoyance of my fiancee), I subscribed to maybe 10-12 podcasts immediately in order to check them out. That was about a month ago. Since then, I've whittled it down to 3-4 that I plan on having in my rotation, and I have to say that the Talking Games podcast is favorite. You strike a delicate balance of differing opinions well, and never allow the show to get off-topic for hugely extended periods of time (I've listened to some where they wouldn't even get into games until 30-40 minutes in... that got annoying).
But mostly, I judge a podcast by how much I want to be in on the conversation, and you guys strike that nerve... everything from the classic game talk (Toe Jam & Earl), to sucking at fighting games, or choosing to play as females if you have to watch them for 100+ hours (I'll do the same thing). Lots of stuff in common with my own gaming history... which is long and storied one (38 years old and have been PC and console playing since the early-80s).
I know the gaming podcast is relatively new and building an audience, so I just wanted to give you a shout out to say you're doing a great job... keep up the good work.
