I hope this is the right place to start this thread. I love Afterlife with Archie and would love a place on this forum specifically for it. I just saw a tweet from artist Francesco Francavilla with the cover of issue 6 and an exciting comment (see below). Man what a great teaser. Looks like some kind of Invasion of the Body Snatchers twist is coming to Riverdale!

I just bought issues 1-3 yesterday and this book was a total win for me personally. I love a good zombie/outbreak story and I'll buy anything that Francesco Francavilla puts out. His cover work and interior work is absolutely amazing! In my personal opinion he is one of the best artist in comics right now. Have they announced if this is an ongoing or a mini-series?

It's ongoing, thank God. Not monthly though, new issue every six weeks.

As is the case for many I imagine, Francesco Francavilla's art alone is a sufficient draw to get this book. Kudos to Archie Comics for doing something both classic and new with their core characters, and it's led me to check out some other titles like The Fox from Archie Comics (didn't realize Mark Waid was helping to write it!).
You can tell this is a dream project for the creators and I'm super excited to be along for the ride.

I enjoyed the art, picked up issue one yesterday, not too sure about the story though. Know nothing of the Archie universe save the one thing most people will recognise in Sabrina. Would be interested to read a non-horror series featuring her with Francavilla's art. Gonna get the next couple that are out and see how that is. Anybody know how it compares the a regular Archie comic?

Never read Archie, I plan on getting this in hardcover (if it happens) just for the artwork alone. Absolutely beautiful.

New issue out today! I haven't read it yet, or any of today's comics, but it's at the top of the pile. My retailer had a $14 FF signed variant he picked up from the ComicsPRO conference last week. I kinda wanted to buy it, but didn't.
