Did anyone read the first issues or pick up the trade that just came out?
Did anyone actually read it when it originally came out (Bob?)
I read the first four issues and thought it was certainly an interesting read. It definitely helped usher in that darker era which we are just now slowly getting out of. I guess this, combined with Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen were complete treatises (sp.?) on the superhero in a 'real' world and how utterly absurd parts of it are. Certainly worth a read for a comic book fan.
