Unity #3 was great, guys. Check out the entire run so far! Also, Issues 1 & 2 are 99 cents right now on comixology.

I'm surprised they included Unity 1 and 2 in the 99 cent sell, that's a pretty good deal.

I'm surprised they included Unity 1 and 2 in the 99 cent sell, that's a pretty good deal. Valiant marks their books down to $1.99 a month after release, so it's not too much of a step down. They've done a lot of 99 cent sales that include issues only a month old. As a young company they want to get people hooked on the books. Since it is digital, any new sales that don't require printing new books is going to be almost all profit. I'd say if you are reading Unity, you should pick up Harbinger #0 as well. Good Harada backstory.

Valiant want you on the train in any way and I love all the sales. There are very few books since the relaunch I don't have thanks to these last few sales. So great!

Harbinger is SO DAMN GOOD. Never read A/A but am a Va Lente fan. Probably will pick up trades in future. X-O is fun too and Q & W has a nice, light tone. Valiant is doing universe integration nice.

I have the entire collection of all the Valiant books leading up until the original unity (which was an event back then)
This was a company that was neck and neck with Image back in the day.
Image had the artist and Valiant had the writers and it showed. This was until Acclaim bought it and fired the editor and cheif and tried to turn all the comics into games they could make the only which that actually worked was Turok.
Ok off of soup box
I really like everything that valiant has been doing recently from the stories to the way they are taking a very small universe and slowly building it.
4 issues story arcs which makes trades cheaper to pick up.
Sneak peaks of other comics at the end of every trade.
Concentrating on only a few big titles and bringing the characters (that used to have there own titles) as special guest instead.
Book: Blood Shot Favorite Character: Blood Shot Favorite Villain: Harada

So is everyone enjoying the Unity and X-O Manowar cross over event? So far it has lived up to my expectations for the series.

So is everyone enjoying the Unity and X-O Manowar cross over event? So far it has lived up to my expectations for the series. I've been really enjoying it. I love the concept of getting both sides of the story, and really questioning whether Aric is a villain or hero at his core (elements of both of course, but makes for fun debate). I've been really impressed with Valiant's slow build-up of its universe and this event has been really well done and is an example of what a meaningful event looks like.

Yeah, I feel like they are doing the same thing with Harada as well. If you read Harbinger then you know he is a pretty shadey guy so we have a different perspective of him than someone that is only reading Unity, which I think is a uniquie aspect to the story.

There is a sell for the original Quantum and Woody and the new series on Comixology. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet. Finally got in my Deluxe Hardcovers also, they are worth it for issues 1-14 of each series, plus 20-40 pages of bonus material.

Yeah, some of the Valiant First titles look great, especially The Delinquents and Dr. Mirage (written by Jen Van Meter, who happens to be Greg Rucka's wife and a great writer too). Valiant continues to impress.

Yeah I posted all the details on Valiant First at the site ( here) and as a fan of the company, I'm really excited to see them do something like this. The Delinquents combines my two favorite books into one entity and Dr. Mirage is written by a good friend of mine so of course I'm going to support it. That and I love supernatural thrillers. Armor Wars is shaping up to be another great event too. Sad Bloodshot's ending though.
