Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, the Powers guys, started a new series where the government has ceded control of the Northeast over to the Mob. This series is really red and black heavy in color, and the first issue is 40 pages, ad-free. Really interesting hook, and I love Bendis when he takes off the gloves with a concept. Highly recommend to anyone who's read Powers or Victories and enjoyed those. And here you see Bendis at his most Bendisy, without him using Marvel characters.
