Did people read the digital Daredevil: Road Warrior arc? I understand it bridges the two Waid/Samnee runs but I am wondering if it has anything that should be read prior to reading the new #1. I have the digital issues but it sucks to read them on my phone (too small - with the fancy transitions I can't zoom on panels) and my computer doesn't seem to like it when I try to read them on my nice big screen. I am trying to decide if I should wait until I get that sorted out to read #1 or just jump in with the new series and get around to DD:RW when I get a tablet (soon, hopefully) Road warrior was a fun little standalone story. I read #1 and didn't see anything regarding road warrior, I believe you're safe. Great. Thanks. I am really looking forward to the new run (and to reading about Matt Murdock taking on Mel Gibson in a postapocalyptic hellscape...that's what it is about, right?)

I loved #1, I love him in his new setting, and in true daredevil fashion they have both great story and action. Unfortunately there were no guest appearances by Lord Humungus in the road warrior

Waid's Daredevil single-handedly got me back into Marvel comics, and this all-new reboot is just as awesome. I hope they keep DD's problems with adjusting to the new city, as I enjoyed that vulnerability he had during the chase scene. Can we talk about that crazy last panel!? I can't even imagine where this is going, love it!

I have the first, like 18-20 issues of Waid's "first" run on the series, just picked up #1 and loved it. Now I need to fill in my back issues. I read up until DD discovered it was Bullseye in that giant box thing. Kind of disappointed with that revelation, I know the two have history and Bullseye has to show up, but I was really into the Ikari character. I was hoping he would be more than just a thug of a thug... Maybe it's just me. But now I'm really regretting dropping off the title! I know that Matt revealed his identity, but I don't really know why. Or why he's back in San Fran. Or anything. That's what I get I suppose!

The bad guys tried to blackmail him into defending one of their guys in a murder trial. They said they'd officially expose him as Daredevil, which would cause him to be disbarred. Rather than cave to their demands he admitted it himself, in court, and was disbarred in New York. He moved back to SF, where he had previously practiced, because I guess it's easier to be re-certified in a state where you've practiced before than to be certified a new state?
