Has anyone else been reading this? I've read DD off and on since I was a kid, but I've been away for a while - I picked up the first volume of the trade just before Christmas, and it seems to be back to the quality of old.

Mark Waid's Daredevil has been one of my favorite books since I started reading with issue 7. I picked up the first trade and then shortly after started getting every issue and it has yet to ever let me down. The art, the writing, everything is brilliant. I agree, it's one of the best runs of Daredevil in a number of years.
I'm bummed the current series is ending but I'm really happy the new series has the same team. I'd hate to see them leave now.

To me, DareDevil has been Marvel's most consistsant book of the last decade plus. You have Bendis's entire run, which Ed brubaker picked up seamlessly. The downfall was shadowland which thankfully was short lived. Then we get Waid. Its been amazing for a long long time (again discounting shadowland).

I think the less said about Shadowland, the better. Otherwise, I'd agree. One of the most consistently written characters Marvel has right now. Loving every minute of it

I've never read anything for DD and Waid's run was my first introduction to the character, loved every issue of it. It's one of the best comic books published right now and always the first thing I read when it comes out.
The current volume is coming to an end (with issue 36 I think). I was getting ready to drop the book If they chose a new creative team, thank God they didn't.

Daredevil is probably my favorite superhero. I'm still catching up on all of the classics, I've read everything from Kevin Smith's short run until current and have loved it all with the exception of shadow land. Mark Waid & Chris Samnee definitely pulled daredevil out of the depths it sank into and put it back to the top of my pull list.

This is a series i really should read more of.I'm way behind on the Waid run, only just read 20 issues or so but its amazing, especially issue 7 with the kids on the schoolbus which i think is one of my favorite issues of a series ever.
As for the other Daredevil stuff i only have a trade of Kevin Smith's Guardian Devil arc(that i bought in New York city when i was on vacation there years ago). That's good too.

I really wish I would have jumped on with this series where I had the chance, I've heard nothing but positive things about it. I'm definitely going to start reading when it gets rebooted.

Take the time and read all that. To say its fantastic is an understatement and things that are happening now, like in yesterday's issue, got its start there.

How do you feel about the price hike to $3.99 for Daredevil, starting with #1?

Did people read the digital Daredevil: Road Warrior arc? I understand it bridges the two Waid/Samnee runs but I am wondering if it has anything that should be read prior to reading the new #1.
I have the digital issues but it sucks to read them on my phone (too small - with the fancy transitions I can't zoom on panels) and my computer doesn't seem to like it when I try to read them on my nice big screen.
I am trying to decide if I should wait until I get that sorted out to read #1 or just jump in with the new series and get around to DD:RW when I get a tablet (soon, hopefully)

I read #1 and didn't see anything regarding road warrior, I believe you're safe.
