Hi everyone!
We're now two shows in and counting. Our next show will be all about Studio Ghibli but what are some other topics you think we should talk about? Keep in mind that for the second part of the show aka our main topic, we're focusing on either:
-a creator (whether it's a writer, artist, inker or whatever)
-a character from comics (Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man etc.)
-movies (Die Hard, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones etc.)
-video games (Portal, Borderlands, Gears of War, Bioshock etc.)
-company (Studio Ghibli, LAIKA, Rocksteady, LucasFilm etc.)
Other suggestions are welcome too, those are just some general ideas to help you help us think of stuff!
In the future, we're also hoping to have guests come on the show to talk about their love of a certain character or movie or whatever, so if there are any creators you'd like to hear talk about something (ie. Becky Cloonan talking about Star Wars) then let us know and we'll try our best to make that happen.

Bioshock is a topic that could be up for debate ? DO THAT.
As far as a creator....How about the luna bros? I just read all of the sword and ultra. Amazing stuff. Have you guys read any of those? Girls? Alex and Ada?

Seconding the Bioshock recommendation - I love those games!
As far as creators, I would be interested in a discussion of Kieron Gillen's work (and would probably literally squee if you interviewed him). The book he has coming out in June with Jamie McKelvie, The Wicked and the Divine, looks amazing.

Would like to hear you talk about Greg Rucka(would also be great to have as a guest)and his work at some point, or some other great writers like Joe Hill or BKV, or you can talk about someone like Mike Allred and his art. As for characters, i think the X-Men, Avengers, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Captain Marvel or Hellboy and the BPRD would be some good topics. And there NEEDS to be a cat episode some day of course  |

Creator - I'd second a Joe Hill focused topic
Character from comics - Hellboy and the BPRD
Movies - Park Chan Wook (Vengeance Trilogy, Stoker, I Am Cyborg)
Video Games - The Arkham series
Company - Telltale Games
And additionally I'd love to to hear you guys discuss Pokemon. I like the open media forum you guys are pushing and where better to discuss the little guys?

Discussions about her three self-published works, her feelings on being the first female artist to tackle Batman, her varying styles on Demo and her reception on Conan (some people didn't dig it). I think you get the idea I'm a bit of a fan. |

Creators - i'd love to hear you guys chat about Brian K Vaughan, Jonathan Hickman, Grant Morrison, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Scott Snyder, Gail Simone, Rick Remender, Neil Gaiman, Ed Brubaker (topical!), or Matt Fraction. Any of those peeps.
Company - Image, because i'm absolutely obsessed with what they've got going on right now, and because they've come so far (SO, SO FAR).

Tony, great ideas! Image has been doing such incredible stuff for the last 2 years, I would love to talk about them, so much material. I think many of the creators on that list would make excellent topics, thanks for the ideas.

Creators: I'd also love to hear you guys talk about Brian K Vaughn but my absolute favourite writer/creator is Greg Rucka.
Movie/TV series: I don't know if any of you guys have had a chance to check out Puella Magica Madoka but it is honestly one of the best movie/tv series I've come across in recent years. It's basically a creative deconstruction of the magical girl genre (like Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors etc.). Very Faust and Paradise Lost but with a cute anime exterior. There are 12 episodes in the series (all available on Netflix) as well as 3 movies with the first two being a summary of the series while the last is a direct sequel.

Creator: Alan Moore (perhaps with a focus outside his Watchmen and V for Vendetta) and as a Ruckateer I second a Greg Rucka spotlight. Oh and Alison Bechdel, I think she one of the most important graphic novelist around.
A character from comics - Wonder Woman, or the representation of LGBTQ characters in comics (both positives and missteps)
Movies - Pan's Labyrinth and the Hellboy films, 5 Centimeters Per Second
TV series: Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra
Video games - Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, the Persona series
Company - It might be cool to spotlight a particular manga or anime, like Neon Genesis Evangelion or Witch Hunter Robin. And if it's possible to have a serious discussion about Yaoi/Yuri and its various influence and history.
PS: I absolutely adore this podcast.

Company - Image Comics, I think it would be great to hear kind of a history of the company and how Image has transformed from the 90's to today. You guys could talk about favorite series, creators, or events that have taken place involving the company.

I loved the Bioshock episode! I liked how you switched it up and did a video game topic this week. Anyways, I think it'd be cool if you girls did a topic on The Last Of Us. I think it's one of the best action survival games I've ever played and has given me the most feels ever in a game aside from Bioshock Infinite. But yeah I think The Last of Us could be a great topic.
