Bro? How is there no Hawkeye thread? Bro!
Hawkeye!
And, boy howdy, today's Hawkguy 15 is something else. No spoilers (at least for the moment - I'm sure we'll have to get there sooner or later) but holy crow!
Ok, so, when thinking about this run of Hawkeye, I am really enjoying the split focus between Hawkeye (Kate) & Hawkguy (Clint). It does, however, make for a frustrating wait to see what happens next in each story but both stories have been so wonderful, I will sit and wait. Although not without fidgeting a bit - with the big switcheroo with the solicits of upcoming issues we are getting the TV episode issue next, which means a 3 month wait for the resumption of the Hawkguy story in 19. Ack!
Where the last arc spent so much time circling around a few key moments over a short period of time in the narrative, 15 is moving things forward big time. As much as I really dug how the creative team really drilled down into this pivotal series of events, I am so happy that the story takes off again.

Yes, Bro. This is a great book...bro!
But seriously issue 15 was insane!!!!.....honestly I find the Clint part of the book more interesting than the Kate parts (not that they are bad). Yeah the delays have been really frustrating yet worth it.

Issue 15 amazing. I'm thinking Kate and Daredevil start working together on west coast. I'm pushing this story arc.

Just read issue 15, and while i liked it i got the feeling i need to re-read the other issues, because i had forgotten a lot of stuff that happened in the previous ones. I think that's mostly due to the long breaks in between some times, and because the book switches a lot between Clint's story and Kate's story. Not hating on it, still think its one of the best series right now...bro.

It looks like this book is back on track for now, but whenever we get a Kate issue there is always a lull, at least for me. She's a better supporting character than a main character. This issue was great, maybe my favorite of the week. That last page though....

Waiting for a Clint issue is like waiting for wonder woman movie and I totally agree that Kate is a better supporting character than main character.

I like Kate, but agree, mostly because I think her dialogue sparks more when she's playing off Clint.

I'll be the voice of dissent here and say that I've enjoyed the Kate issues more since they've been alternating. They're all great, but I love seeing Kate branching out on her own, and pulling in her own crew of supporting characters who I look forward to getting to know.

Just read issue 17, and its been a long time since i loved an issue of Hawkguy as much as this one. I think it was mostly because of the story, even though i would have never expected a story like this, i thought it was hillarious and really sweet...dog.

This was a great and fun issue, dog. I really loved the concept of the cartoon show and the fact that it was reflecting on Clint's life during that period of time (around issue #6), dog.
