Yale Stewart's JL8 is one of the best webcomics around! The 8-year-old version of the JLA (picture "Peanuts" with capes!) is charming and funny, but manages to present the grown-up attributes of the heroes at the same time in a stunningly accurate and very heroic "Old 52" way! Word is sketchy at this point, but it seems Mr. Stewart will be releasing a DC-approved "Amazing Adventures of Superman" book this Summer!

It is great and funny, I first read it when there were about 30 of them then late last year i read up to 150 and I didn't know that DC approved book. Also could you imagine a JL8 and tiny titans crossover.

Judging by what Yale has said on twitter and Facebook, his work on a Superman book aimed at kids is a definite. Hopefully a sign of things to come, maybe they'll even offer him the chance to release JL8 in print. It's probably still well inside the 'hidden gems' category and wouldn't it be great to see DC release it so kids (and big kids like us) enjoy it the world over? It's a brilliant piece of work and continues to be great fun, I love it!

Excepting Gail Simone's work (nice avatar picture, by the way!), Yale Stewart delivers my favorite current depictions of DC's characters!!

I've loved JL8 since literally the beginning when it first started. It's funny, it's charming, it's clever, it's interesting, it's heartwarming, it's so many more adjectives and is really one of my favorite webcomics of all time. I'm also incredibly happy to see Yale get more work now with the Big 2, either with his bit in Nova #100 or with his upcoming projects at DC. I'm proud to be a fan (the background of my laptop is Power Girl playing with ponies) and I think everything can be summed up with this one image:

I just found out this existed and it's immediately upon impact become the single greatest thing I have ever lain eyes upon. How I survived on this planet before this moment is utterly beyond me.
