I am loving Horizon Zero Dawn. I think it's my favorite open world game. There's just something so enjoyable about fighting with a bow and arrow. And, yes, the robot dinosaurs are awesome, but even just hunting boars and rabbits is so much fun. It reminds me of the hunting part of Oregon Trail. I'm almost 30 hours into it and I think I'm maybe only halfway through the main story. There's just so much other fun stuff to do and I'm kind of putting off the main quest because I don't want it to be over too soon. What do you guys think of it?

Love it, want to platinum it really bad!Though i think it was a mistake to have it come out the same week as the new Zelda, which is also amazing and currently taking up most of my time.Could be me, but it feels like Breath of the Wild is overshadowing this game, which is a bit of a shame.

Yeah, that is totally for true. "Luckily" for me, I didn't get a Switch, so I can give all my attention to Horizon. Finally killed a Thunderjaw last night!

I also don't have a Switch yet, playing Zelda on my Wii U, plays pretty good on that system as well.Think i'm going to wait for a Switch until it has more games or until it becomes cheaper, which in both cases is probably going to take a while.
Played a whole lot of Horizon again today, and to be honest, even though Zelda is so damn addicting Horizon does almost everything a little bit better, at least in terms of gameplay, in my opinion.

I feel like I make so little progress in this game because every time I come across a side quest, I do it right then because I don't want to have to come back to it later.
And it seems like in most games, as you get higher level, you end up with plenty of money and resources, more than you really know what to do with. But in this game, the higher I get, the more often I'm running low or completely out of certain things. It makes it a really good challenge and forces me to try out new things when I suddenly can't run an attack like I normally would because I'm out of ammo.
