So apparently we will get a Warhammer 40k Ongoing starting in September.
We dont know anything else, including creative team, about this yet but it still makes me very happy because IMO its THE most underutilized IP out there, mainly because Games Workshop sucks at bringing it to other media, shutting down really good looking fan projects and selling their IP for the worst Game/Movie adaptations.
For those who dont know about the WH40k Universe, their catchphrase pretty much sums it up perfectly "In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war"
its a dystopian future with Sci-Fi and Fantasy Elements where there are no good guys, we get Space Marines, a ruthless Inquisition, the Imperial Army that pretty much consists only of cannon fodder, Eldar(Elves), Tyranids(the original Zerk), Orcs(Orcs) ect.
The whole universe is just so big and full of Lore which has kind of been locked away from the general audience, even though there are some excellent Books out there, for example the "Gaunts Ghosts" or the "The Horus Heresy" series.
Im so excited, i used to play the TT game A LOT, travelling through the country playing tournaments but sadly i have fallen off from the hobby a few years ago so im excited that i will get some stories of one of my favourite universes presented in my favourite medium.
that said, does anyone have some familiarity with Titan Comics? apparently they do mostly licensed stuff, like Assasin's Creed, Deus Ex and Dark Souls.
