Well l have to say l was on the fence about this book.
I had no problem with her being pregnant or anything like that l did have issue woth her going to space... l hate space. I know its comics and weird s#it is supposed to happen but come on space to deliver a baby and hijinks happen with scrulls...
and then issue 4 comes and it happens... l won't spoil it but awesomeness happens and this book comes full circle for me and l get the Jessica l know and love.
Im in for the long haul and you should comewith me

Im in for the long haul and you should comewith me Since the end of Secret Wars, this is the only marvel book I pick up monthly... I love jessica, if only ASM was this good. She is by far one of the best written characters in the MU. I've been a Hopeless fan since his run on Avengers Arena. I know that run takes a beating from fans, but I enjoyed it. I thought it gave agency to characters such as x-23, nico, & hazmat... Rodriguez's art has been solid since he took over the book. |

I have loved Jessica since New Avengers Breakout where she escorted Matt Foggy and Luke to see Sentry.

I've always kinda liked her as a character whenever she showed up, but it wasn't until she got her own series that I paid attention. Only then did i make an effort to seek out more of the books she was in.

Haven't read any of this series yet, although I plan to.Absolutely love the cover of issue 5 though!  One of the best covers of the year so far, in my opinion. |
