i will definitley check this out. The last run was the most boring thing on the shelf. It wasn't bad, but edmonson's comics take 3 minutes to read.

I really enjoyed Edmonson and Noto's run, but I can see how people thought it read fast.
This will be a good fit.

Good art though, but the story was lacking majorly. It had so much potential, but fell flat to me. This new take on her will not disappoint, i can see the future! |

Not being a Daredevil fan, I didn't read the Waid/Samnee run but was aware of how respected it was. So I'm really happy to see Marvel put such a high-profile team on Natasha. I can't wait to start reading this book!

I can't wait to start reading this book! I would highly recommend looking in to the Waid/Samnee Daredevil as it is just good reading. I'm sure so many will follow that team, regardless of character, but it seems like a great fit given that DD is a street-level character who can dip in and out of every corner of Marvel with ease. I like my comics a bit more fantastical than the spy genre but I will absolutely be getting this book now. |

I too would've LOVED to see FF taken on by this team. However, I will definitely give BW a shot. Never been a fan of the character, but I'll read about anything these guys do (together OR individually.) |

LOOOOOOOVED it. When I got to the end, I turned back to the first page and read it again; about as great an action sequence as I've ever seen in a comic book. Several phenomenal covers for it, too, from Skottie Young, Noto, and Tula Lotay. Instantly added it to my pull.
As colorist Jordan Gibson tweeted @gibsoncomics:
"If Marvel ever makes a Black Widow movie and it doesn't start exactly like that first Samnee Black Widow issue then they're big dum-dums."

I've enthused about this on other threads already but there's never a bad time to celebrate when a comic gets it soooo right - loved this issue, think I have now read it 10+ times and after the first 5 I started to read it really slowly and just take in those pages of wonderful art!
