So excited. I just rewatched Daredevil and can't wait to see the Netflix world expand. Rosario Dawson's character of Clare is amazing. I gotta say though, the only thing that would have made it better is more Ben.
On a personal level I really can't wait for DD season 2.

Can't wait! Never read Alias before, but it has been on my To Read list for a long time, gonna try to read it before this show comes out. just finished the new TP (issues 1-9) myself and it was pretty good. The gratuitous use of F*** seemed a little unnecessary to me but didn't ruin the story. It's not on my list of "best things I read this year" but it definitely made me excited for hte show

Wow. So good. Seriously, it's drama, detective show, and considering most of us know the comics a definite love interest appeared right in episode 1. (You all know who I'm talking about!) I didn't know what to expect but I really think Netflix is just nailing these shows. I just finished episode 2 and am firing up episode 3 right now.
Best line:
"You can't fix me. I'm unbreakable."

damn that show is creepy, also kudos to David Tennant he is as dislikeable in this as he was likeable in Doctor Who.

In my less than humble opinion, this is the best superhero show i have ever seen. OK, well its not really a superhero show, more of a drug addicts, deviant, alcoholic detective show. I honestly think this show was better than flash and arrow. I really can't wait for DD season two but i think Jessica Jones season two will be better. Luke Cage should be a good show to.

This show is everything i wanted Gotham to be. Just an incredible adult tv drama set in the Marvel Universe. I expected a very a good show, but they even surpassed my expectations. Well done.

Cons: I would have liked to include slightly less luke. I like him, and am very much looking forward to his show, but this is jess' show. Too many episodes. As with daredevil, this story doesn't feel like it needs 13 episodes to conclude. Certain places in the series felt artificially stretched. I think something like 9-10 episodes would serve this format better.
Pros: great villain, among the best in the marvel cinematic universe. I think the movie makers should talk to these filmmakers about ho to create a truly compelling/creepy/threatening baddie
Actors in general, all great casting. Ritter really embraced the role and felt less like a great super hero show, and more like just a great show.
I mentioned actors already but Patsy Walker was the big standout to me. I wanted to see where she goes, almost more than the super-people.
Overall: This was a lot of fun. Tenent did a great job. Ancillary characters where interesting and engaging. I was originally disapointed to not see more connections to the rest of the MCU, but in retrospect it allowed the series to maintain it's own identity. I do think Luke Cage, was involved a bit more than I would have liked, though he is perfectly cast. The biggest criticism was the length of the series. 13 episodes seems like an arbitrary length that they're shooting for on these things and I would suggest they focus on telling a complete story and just allow that dictate the amount of episodes they create.

I think I'm on episode 8 now and love the show. I had high expectations due to DD and so far they have been met. The cast like DD is perfect.
My wife and I are switching between this and Hannibal so are detective itch is being scratched nicely. The villains on Netflix are so good bit I think that's a result of the serialized character building as well as the casting.
For me it is not quite as good as Daredevil which means this is still an amazing show. Highlights are the first two uses of someone's famous catchphrase. Amazing

Cons: I would have liked to include slightly less luke. I like him, and am very much looking forward to his show, but this is jess' show. I don't know if you've read the comics or not. But Luke Cage plays a big role in Jessica Jones life. They didn't put him on this show to simply set up the Luke Cage tv show like they did on Arrow and Flash with the Legends of Tomorrow characters. He is actually vital to her story. They can't just simply have him disappear. I do have one criticism of the show and it involved a very annoying character that kept popping in and out for some reason. Overall the characters on the show are particularly strong aside from that one character. I chalk this up to the drawback of the Netflix model. Had this been a weekly tv show that character wouldn't make it past one episode.
