The season finale had some great moments, but I still felt a little underwhelmed by it overall. I'm definitely sticking around for season two though!

It was a pretty solid finale, I'm looking forward to the direction they're going to take in the next season. I'm also really excited for Skye's backstory, hopefully they're going to pace it better. Do you guys think she's alien? Inhuman? And do you think her bio-dad is someone from the comics?

This season has certainly gotten off to a much faster start then last.
An appearance by one of my all time favorite villains doesn't hurt either.

Loved the season opener, feels like the budget has definitely been stepped up a bit. A little darker and less jokey but still very entertaining.

So what're we thinkin', here? Theories? Kyle MacLachlan/Skye's dad? Someone we Marvel fans know, or a new character altogether?

Man, this show.
A year ago (or so) I stopped watching. I had a bunch of complaints about it, but one of the main ones was that it lacked “Marvelness.” For most of the first season, they were doing episodes that seemed like warmed-over Warehouse 13 stories, when I thought we ought to be seeing mad scientists in beekeeper suits, or hooded figures around a table or something.
But this year they’ve done a fantastic job of really embracing the possibilities of the setting. Mockingbird, Daniel Whitehall, two (going into three) iterations of Hydra leadership, Daisy Johnson/Quake, Inhumans and whatever is going on with the Koenig brothers. This is now the show I wanted it to be when it started.

Just started watching Agents Of SHIELD this week and am loving it so far. I was apprehensive because of the general fan reaction but I'm up to Episode 6 and haven't hit a bad one yet.
Really invested in Fitz and Simmons. I think the two actors are great together. The Whedon-esque dialogue passes the laugh test more often than not.
Impressed with the effects given the TV format.
Am I about to hit a serious dip?
