I was so close to giving up on this show mid-season but now I'm so glad I stayed on. Now I want to rewatch it to see what I missed with a certain character

Great episode! Lots of Winter Soldier spoilers though. Not everyone sees the movie opening weekend.. i thought that as well. Bold move, on their part. I think i might've waited a few weeks to show that episode if i were them, not that i'm complaining! I saw the movie a few days ago, and as a follow-up/tie-in that episode was magnificent. Not unlike the entire multi-phase Marvel Cinematic Universe experiment, this is definitely something that's never been done before (not to my knowledge, at least). In an era of remakes, rehashes, knockoffs, and a continuing flood of reality TV garbage, what Marvel/Disney is doing with this whole thing is just so, so impressive, to me. Fortune favors the bold, and such.

Well to be fair they were promoting this episode in the last last as being VERY heavy on Winter Soldier events....but yeah, this was an awesome episode and just now it hit me that Hand mentioned Hydra taking over a location in South Africa and it just happens that Avengers 2 is also shooting there....so maybe there is a connection there? (aside from maybe seeing the first seeds of possibly having the Black Panther and Wakanda properly introduced in the MCU)

Holy crap! Captain America tie in with S.H.I.E.L.D. was crazy. This show has def had some rough spots but for the most part its been entertaining. I am hoping it gets picked up for another season.

I stuck with the show from the beginning fighting through watching the first 5 or so episodes and kept going. Whedon took such a slow time getting us to care about the characters and Im not sure if I really like the acting styles of some of the actors but it grew on me. The last few episodes were worth it all in the long run. Now that the show is established, they have so much material to play with that the sky is the limit. It just because of the beginning that the show still draws such a small audience. Hopefully the word gets out that the show is finally where we all want it to be.

With the exception of the last few episodes, the first season has kinda felt like watching the A-Team when I was a kid (Not that that is a bad thing. I love the A-Team). But every week had been flying to a new mission that for the most part seems to wrap up before the end of the episode bringing the team closer to the "Clairvoyant". We know now what side everyone is on along with all their secrets. We need to have a second season to watch it all blow up!

How did everyone like the latest S.H.i.E.L.D. with Patton Oswalt? Or did you like it at all?

I liked it, it was nice to get a view at the "real" Ward....also it was nice to see that Nick Fury has secrets of his own and that only Coulson and a few others (based on Oswalt's character) know he is truly alive. And with The Fridge pretty much shut down, I hope we get to see in the future more Marvel supervillains (we got Griffin mentioned by his real name!).

I have only one thing to say about the current quality of SHEILD, "Don't Call It A Comeback!"
