In the 21st century there will be a new endangered species...man.
Chris: Is there anything you liked about this movie? *pause* Brian: ... No.
The meeting point between the post-apocalyptic obsessed late 80s and the Industrial/MTV soaked 90s whirs and buzzes its way in to the hearts of Nick and Chris, but takes a cup of H2O to the face from Brian.
What did you think of Richard Stanley's Hardware?
How do practical effects match up to CGI in movies with lower budgets? What has the best overall impact?
COMIC BOOK CROSSOVER FACT Hardware was based on a 2000AD Judge Dredd story called "Shok!" but was uncredited. When it was realised, the creators, Steve McManus, and Kevin O'Neill (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) successfully sued Richard Stanley for writing credit.

Lenny! Thanks for these posts - they rock. I do feel like I marginalized a lot of what Stanley was doing. I don't want to see it again, but I think it more falls into the "not my cup of tea" than "this is shit" category. But I really hated it.

No problem, Brian. Thanks for the free entertainment! Its almost literally the least I could do. If you guys want to put up official threads I'll stop doing these, but I really don't mind throwing them up. No need to explain your position on Hardware. It was nicely balanced with Chris and Nick's opinions, and it was a funny episode. I'm afraid to inform you that it did make me want to watch it though
