Black Hood #1 came out last week and it was great. I know Stephanie reviewed it on the podcast. I cant say enough about Gaydos' art. The story got the setup out of the way in the 1st issue and now we'll get some good story coming up next.

Doesn't hurt with all the Philly shoutouts, either

I loved the first arc of Black Hood and Gaydos art created a perfect atmosphere. Changing the artist for the second arc has also lost a lot of what made the first so great. As much as I've liked Chaykins art in other books, this one doesn't work. The brooding darkness Gaydos created was half the story. I'll stay with it but not sure how long.
