Just read 6. Things are really starting to accelerate. I am having trouble figuring out how the PI can change the events taking place. Interesting premise, though. Would you bring back the internet to that world if you could? I think we are pulling for the protagonist to be able to prevent the recreation of the world we enjoy today. Maybe the PI will have to use the reconstituted internet to get the word out about the teevee mogul. He might have to ask his tattooed grandfather for help posting to a blog!

I just read all 6 issues over the weekend and really enjoyed the series so far. I like that it is a planned out 10 issue series, hopefully they'll be able to make it all the way to 10.

Haven't read 6 yet, literally sat down to do it now.
In other news, not to turn this into a gossip site, but did anyone else immediately think of this comic when the news broke about that celebrity photo leak? BKV better add prophet to his resume.

#8 was predictably fantastic; can't wait for the finale

With the increasing amount of "nerd rage" and racism going around with each movie announcement and casting announcement and them gamergate and earlier this year with guys verbally threatening and abusing women in comics, I really wish the premise of this comic actually happened.
I guess then there would be arguments about not enough holes in the ground in the world because they all would be crawling into them.

I'm looking to get into The Private Eye but how is everyone reading it? Downloading the PDF onto their computer?
I want to read it on my iPad--what's the best way to go about doing that?

I want to read it on my iPad--what's the best way to go about doing that? if I had a tablet, i'd read it on that, but I don't, so I read it in cbr on my computer with the CDisplay freeware program ( www.cdisplay.me/ ). Either way, just go to their website, panelsyndicate.com/ go down to the THE PRIVATE EYE VOLUME ONE (Issues One to Five) entry, click through, pay what you want (from $0.00 on up), and they'll give you a link to whatever format you'd like to read it in (pdf, cbr, cbz). Then do the same for issue 6, 7, 8, and 9. And there you go.

Gotta be time for issue 10.
Loved the French Revolition joke at the end of #9.

So this ended. Not sure how many were reading it, but I think considering the creative team and quality of the book, it really proved that digital isn't all that amazing. Even I didn't read this upon release. I would get the email, and almost instantly forget. I wonder why that is.
Anyway, enough about the format. Loved the final issue. I really hope they do physically collect this. There's something so unappealing about reading such a great comic on my computer screen.
