Did anyone pick this up?
I'd like to know if it's good before dropping $60.00 on it.

I was worried about this game too, looked promising, but most LOTR based games have in the past and generally been bad. So I waited for reviews for this before buying and they were all amazing. And they are right. It is SUCH a good game. All the Assassins Creed/Arkham comparisons are fair, but this really adds to it. So happy there's a LOTR game worth the time.

I've been on the fence about this game too. But after seeing the reviews and hearing the TG folk talk about it on the podcast, I'm very tempted to pick it up!

Got it on Friday but haven't played a whole lot of it yet.But i like it so far, i'm a sucker for the Arkham games battle system and the Nemesis system is really interesting and also the reason i bought this game.

(sorry for the slight bump)
I love it. I am trying to not over-play it but I really want to finish it before some of these winter games come out. The nemesis system is awesome but the rest of the game is kind of boring. The world is a little bit dull but it is saved by the nemesis system.

I've barely progressed in the main campaign because I keep trying to take down every single captain. The side content, albeit being repetitive, is so incredibly addicting.

A lot of this game would feel so repetetive and done before epecially in the Arkham and AC games but the strategy behind taking down the different ranking Captains and War Chiefs is so much fun and so frustrating in the best way. I have never hated characters more in a game than I do in this. If you died and just reloaded from a previous save it wouldn't have nearly as much impact as it does with the system it has here, and getting revenge is so enjoyable.
