Have an idea for what we should talk about on the show? Leave your suggestions here!
Keep in mind that we have other shows that we have scheduled and planned so we might not use your topic or get to it for a while, but we want to know what you want to hear about on the show.

Oh man I just totally deleted my thread to relocate it here and I've lost it. So many good points dammit!
Anyway it was basically having more of Stephanie, Melissa & Mara on the show as time and lives permit.
Oooh and more Radio Theatre Presents

Oooh and more Radio Theatre Presents Radio Theatre Presents is DEFINITELY coming back at some point... I know the guys are 100% on board for that and it's funny that you mention Mara, Melissa and myself because I were JUST talking about getting our podcast going. Hopefully we'll have a podcast up sometime this month!

A "So you think you might like Comics" kinda section would be awesome. There's that many titles out there that quite regularly I consider getting into but worry I'll start at the wrong place and walk away with my tail between my legs

I eagerly await both!
Have you ever watched the Comicosity Hangouts? I'd be a pretty cool feature if you manage to wrangler any guests into it.
This one with Becky Cloonan rocked:

This one with Becky Cloonan rocked: All the ladies of The Hangout are wonderful people. Besides Comics Therapy and a certain podcast *cough* they are the main three I watch/listen to every week. And yes, Radio Theater Presents and more Melissa/Mara/Stephanie are things I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of this year.

Maybe he means a segment where you guys talk about suggestions for readers to possibly get into at the right time? Like this is a good jumping on point for this book. I could be totally wrong but still. That'd be a cool segment if everyone had one book they want others to read and they had a good jumping in point for new readers.

Something along the lines of 'if you're thinking of getting into X-Men I'd recommend *Insert Title here*, and this is why'. There are so many times either myself or Mrs Monkey have considered starting reading a certain character or title, but don't know what book to start on and end up leaving it out of fear that we'd pick up the wrong book, get totally confused and waste our (not so) hard earned cash on it.

I think you should have a history segment for Bob every week that gives him the opportunity to champion old books that wouldn't normally be brought up.
Lets have a "get to know your podcaster" segment where you all answer a question of the week (submitted by the listeners, maybe?), like what's your favorite food or do you like Star Trek kind of thing. Just to add to the personalness of the show.
Maybe find a way to get some listeners as guest on the show through Skype or Google+ or something?

Pick a comic based film, probably a bad one and do a talking comics commentary in real time to the film pulling it apart or praising it. We could then play it while watching the chosen film. Heard it done on Kevin smiths show and it really works.

I agree with the other posters that have mentioned an idea about Bob doing a history segment. However I would slightly modify the idea, Bob would pick one comic or story arc from a comic that appeared in the Gold, Silver, or Bronze age and do a brief bit about why this comic stands the test of time and should be read by comic book readers today. I would think this could be done once a month and call it Bob's Classic Comic of the Month.

Only finickity thing is syncing up the video to the podcast every time you have to pause it! Arrrgh!

Hey folks,
Playing a bit of "catch-up" here, so I'll address a couple of things at once!
a) Personally, I'm always up for talking about the history of comics, and down the road there will be some stand-alone shows of that nature. I like throwing those things into the regular show, too, so there'll be an odd title this very week that might surprise you!
b) I have some ideas for our next Radio Theatre, and all of them will have Our Ms. Cooke in dual starring roles! (We also have a script for another "radio drama", although this one is actually a comedy!)
c) I'd certainly be up for a MST3K kind of movie event, but having tried it, they're not as easy as it seems!
'Nuff said! rrr

Maybe I'm weird, but I'd like to hear about the history of comic book printing. Paper types, coloring innovations, small press, pros and cons of printing in today's digital world, etc.
