FYI - on Fox sports website there is an interesting Wrestle Mania article by Jim Ross that gives a couple paragraph breakdown on each WM. It is a 3 part series with the first two parts posted so far and I think part three will be posted tomorrow. I'm not in a spot I can post the link right now so if someone else can that'd be nice and if not ill try to do it when I get home later today. Edit: Came home for lunch and found part 3 was up. Link is to part 3, but you can get to the others by clicking at the years at the top of the page. Wrestle Mania article

Having stayed up to watch Mania last night I can happily say I made the right decision. There is no way I could've got through today without the nights results being spoilt, and to be honest, last night was the first time in a while that I've cheered more than 1 result at a PPV (Diva's, Battle Royal, WWE World Title match), sat there speechless after a result (Taker obviously), and realistically there was only one result I didn't enjoy seeing - and that was Cena being Super-Cena yet again.
Bravo WWE you went the long way around doing it, but you put on one hell of a show.

WTF THEY BROKE TAKERS STREAK? Just read the results and i can't believe it. One of the best things in WWF/E history in my opinion and they let Lesnar beat it?...bad move.

I havent watched WWE/WWF in about a decade but the Undertaker was one of my favorites. Saw that they had I cant hack it in the UFC Brock Lesner break his WM streak... Pretty lame in my opinion.

WTF THEY BROKE TAKERS STREAK? Just read the results and i can't believe it. One of the best things in WWF/E history in my opinion and they let Lesnar beat it?...bad move. It was Undertaker's decision. He'd been planning to drop the streak to Brock since 2010 (on the off chance he would return to WWE after his career in UFC) and when Brock officially returned in 2012, the plans had been solidified for Wrestlemania 30. This was Mark's (Undertaker) doing the entire time. The way I look at it (coming from his mindset), he's 50 years old. He's been wrestling for 30 of them. He's been wanting to retire for a while now and his body giving out on him during the match (he suffered a concussion and had to spend a good 5-6 minutes on the ground because he physically couldn't get up) was probably the straw that broke the camel's back. He's been barely able to walk out of the ring the last 2-3 Wrestlemania's and while I wish the streak would still be alive, I care more about his health and well being, especially since he has young children at home. I think the other reason he wanted to drop the streak, especially to Brock, is because whoever beat the streak would be a heel for the rest of his career. He would be detested and remembered as the guy who "broke the streak." Love him or hate him, Brock can carry that weight. Sure he's not a full-timer like a lot of the other people that could've/should've broke the streak (Wyatt, Cena, Reigns ect), but in a sense that works better because WWE Creative doesn't have to scramble to try and make continuous storylines for him. Plus it solidifies Paul Heyman's legacy as one of, if not the best managers of all time. As for the rest of the show, it was probably the best Wrestlemania since 25, and even then the card was probably one of the best since 20. I didn't even mind Cena winning because it was more of a storyteller match that made Wyatt look like the crazy sociopath that he is by getting inside Cena's head than anything else. I think Wyatt will be better now BECAUSE he lost.

I think Wyatt will be better now BECAUSE he lost. Yeah i also heard that Taker wanted it to happen, which makes sense, that's probably the only reason why it happened. I love Taker but the last time i saw him on TV i thought he looked tired and weak and i thought he should probably retire soon for his own good, but still they could have done so many other things with this. Would have liked it a whole lot more if he would just retire and never let the streak be broken, or if that couldn't happen they should have let someone else break it, like maybe Punk last year.20-1 would make a better number than 21-1 i think and it would have also boosted Heyman's career. But its done, no need to think about it any more. But what i did like was Bryan winning the championship, about time they did that. Now lets hope he gets a good run with it.

Between RVD returning (I'm a fan what can I say), The Shield's new face masks, Bad News Barrett back in the ring (and getting cheered), Paige winning the Divas title, Leo Kruger Adam Rose and Bo Dallas's promos, The Wyatt Family, basically everything about this night was awesome. If every show was like this, the company would be in the best place it's been in a long time.

First he wins the Battle Royal at Mania(thought they only made that match so they could let Big Show win it)and not only that, a day later they make him a freaking Paul Heyman guy!So looks like he's getting a big push now, which he absolutely deserves.

Just watching Warrior's speech from the HoF now, and damn it I feel close to tears again. Warrior was one of my favourites growing up and I loved seeing him on Raw and Mania. It genuinely feels like the childhood wrestling fan in me has died with him.
RIP Big man, and thanks for making wrestling fun for everyone
