This has been discussed by a few of us in a few different spots so I thought I would start a dedicated thread to the upcoming weekly Batman title. Lots of talk about the fact it's shipping weekly and the strain it will put on the wallet Also concerns regarding quality and consistency due to 4 different writes being involved. It's got Snyder at the helm and it's Batman so I'll will be giving it a try. Here's to hoping its great.

Just from reading the solicits it sounds like these stories are just filler in the New 52 Batman universe with a different story every week. I'm not really sure I'm interested in a one-shot every week.

I've yet to come across them.

This was something I was going to give a miss, but Batman #28 changed that and I'm fully on board. Really looking forward to this series now.

I wasn't going to pick this up originally, since I haven't read any Batman books since Zero Year started, but the idea of a 60 issue maxi-series with a definitive effect on the future of Batman and the Bat-family had me interested, especially with the team involved. It also doesn't hurt that I recently had 4 books end/get cancelled and dropped two other books so there is actually some space in my pull for an extra 3 dollars a week. I don't know if I'll last the whole 60 issues, but I'm at least intrigued for the first 8-10 issues.

A new issue every week would spell certain doom for what little shelf space I have left.
