There are some brilliant runs in comics that are notorious for being uncollected through the years. DC have been re-printing so many of these recently eg; the Ostrander Martian Manhunter, Dennis O'Neill Nightwing, Mike Grell Green Arrow runs. The George Perez Wonder Woman will finally be in print again next year.
What are some favourites that everyone is dying for, or have even gone back and bought the single issues out of desperation?
I picked up the entire Batman Legacy event a couple years ago. I still find it strange that it wasn't re-collected when Rises came out as all the key players of that movie are that story. Also one of my favourite Bat-events (him flying a plane with a shirt off and mask still on? Because he's Batman)
The Chuck Dixon Tim Drake Robin run will always be one of my favourites and still hasn't been collected.
Also Power of the Atom. I recently read Sword of the Atom and it is incredible. It's a crazy sci fi fantasy John Carter/Adam Strange story, but the Atom. And is incredibly brutal in some of the things it shows considering when it came out. And although it has a suprisingly happy ending, I know whats to come in Identity Crisis, and Power of the Atom picks up the pieces from Sword.

Henry, There are a ton of things that I'd love to have in trade or hard-cover, but some would be the complete John Byrne Sensational She-Hulk, the Dwayne McDuffie Damage Control, Trina Robbins' The Legend of Wonder Woman, and that you've mentioned Chuck Dixon, I'd love to have both his Birds of Prey and Gail Simone's first run on that book.

A very intelligent feminist sex comic called 'Melodie (the True Story of a Nude Dancer)' by Sylvie Rancourt and Jacques Bovin. Originally in french (from Canada) but published in translation by Kitchen Sink in the early 90s erotica boom (Eros Coimic, Black Kiss etc) Melodie is largely an intelligent discussion of swinging, Christian values and rural poverty.
It wasn't massively successful likely because it's female's aren't pornographic archetypes but realistic characters and its art style isn't as sleek as the bit hit of the time Ohama The Cat Dancer. If you're of a mature mind and see it in the bins the singles are well worth reading.

There are a quite a few things I want or I'm in the process of collecting. Marvel unlimited has eased my obsession to collect a lot of things, but I still have my bucket list. Here are some of my top ones: 1. ASM - Death of Gwen Stacy, I have 122, but I am still trying to find 121 for a reasonable price. 2. The Last Days of American Crime (Remender,Tocchini)- I bought this digitally and I loved it, I highly recommend it to anyone who is a Remender fan. 3. The first Wolverine mini-series (Miller, Rubinstien)- Wolverine as I like to remember him. 4. Logan (B.K. Vaughan, Risso) - This is a 2008 mini where Logan goes back to Hiroshima, Japan to reflect on some of the ghosts of his past.

This may be a bit of a cheat but I really wish marvel would get cracking on releasing the omnibus versions of Thier flagship titles. So far FF has only two out and Avengers won't release the second until next year.
