Yes, please vote. Remember that for about the first forty years of our country, only white Protestant men who owned property could vote. Everyone else had to fight and fight for the right (and even those dudes had to fight England).
Tips if you're unsure about voting: 1) don't know where to start? Go to Rock the Vote and type in your address. It will tell you who is running and other stuff that's on your ballot, and tell you where to vote. 2) don't like either major party? I understand. But once they get into office, they vote with their own party 95% of the time. So choose the party you like best, and vote for whoever is running from that party. The personalities don't matter. 3) you showed up at the wrong place but think you're in the right place? Ask for a provisional ballot.

And if you are unsatisfied with any of the political parties you could mar your vote. That also sends a message. I am not sure if they count those in America but mared votes are counted in Canada, and they do make a difference.
