Batman Eternal #28 Tim Seeley and Scott Snyder Cover by Clayton Thomas Mann I don't stick with this book because of the release schedule but there are quite a few touching moments for Batgirl fans including a rather strong poignant one to close the book between herself and Jason Todd. I really enjoyed this issue.
Death of Wolverine #4 Charles Soule and Steve McNiven *Slow Clap* They really stuck the landing on this in my opinion in a way I don't think everyone will see it coming and I will say in typical Marvel fashion there is a nice Wolverine montage that McNiven did a fantastic job on.
Death of Wolverine "The Logan Legacy" Charles Soule and Oliver Nome This was a hard nut to crack for the art is an acquired taste I think but its the formation of a team in the old "Were not a team we just have to work together" mantra. Ill give this one one more shot but it didn't wow me out of the gate.
Miles Morales Ultimate Spiderman Brian Michael Bendis and Dave Marquez I love this book to the point I hate to talk to much about it because I sound like a teenager in love. However we did get some really good dialogue on this "Peter" and what it could be and a few heart strings are tugged in the process. Marquez really has made this his series now its hard to envision anyone else on art for this book.
Supergirl #35 Tony Bedard and Jon Meyers This is Tonys last issue before Mike Johnson comes back so I was worried we might just get a cast off issue with nothing of merit to carry forward. Instead I got an issue with a bond being formed between Kara and Jason Todd in a way that seems genuine and not the least bit forced. The rest of the issue was just a follow on to the Doomed storyline but the budding friendship between the two characters was handled so well it was worth the admission price for me.
Uncanny X-Men #27 Brian Michael Bendis and Chris Bachalo In my opinion this was the best "Scott Summers issue" yet he does exactly what you think he would when it comes to saving a new mutant and I will stop there. Bachalo does a good job on art but as usual he has a team of inkers so there are noticeable differences on some pages that are slightly jarring.
I still need to get through Ms. Marvel and Axis #2

Magneto #11 was a total grand slam on every level. The book really went in-depth taking a look at what Magento's existence in the Marvel Universe has meant and who he is as a person. Not to mention the latter part of the book does a tremendous job of pumping the reader up for some events in Axis. Let's just say Magneto forms a much cooler version of the Thunderbolts.

Ms. Marvel #9 - Another great issue!Still really enjoy the story, and even though Im not a big Inhumans fan i love Lockjaw, and i think Adrian Alphone draws him perfectly, i always smile when i see him in this book.
Superior Foes of Spider-Man #16 - This book keeps being hillarious, that scene with Mach(VII, i think?) had me laughing so hard.I think there's only going to be one more issue, which is a shame, but i think Spencer can end it the right way, and i'm interested to see how he's going to handle Ant Man in the new ongoing.

Ms. Marvel #9 was once again excellent, Supreme Blue Rose #4 was bizarrely awesome. Love what Ellis is doing with this. I also really enjoyed Green Lantern Corps #35, Godhead has started strongly.

Batman and Robin 35 - not gonna bury the lead. Buy this book, not because it needs it, just because it's probably overall the best thing on the selves right now. It's the closest thing to the animated series I've ever seen, and now that Batman is in New God Territory, wow - I don't think it can get much better than this.
My two favorite things in the DCU are New Gods, and Bat-family team ups. We've got nearly the entire Bat Family together again, and hopefully by the end of it... we will have the entire family back!
Justice League 35 - A lot of people say this title doesn't feel like Justice League. Either way, it's a very enjoyable story.
Annihilator 2 - Morrison with the cuffs off. Great art, and a really trippy story.

I haven't really been feeling the series since Robin Rises began but this one hit. When Alfred gives the team the "Rs" I got misty-eyed. I have a few books left on my pile to read but here's a quick rundown: Batman Eternal was good - some excellent Batgirl with really nice art, even iff the cover is a little too asstastic. Deadly Class continues to be one of the best titles on the racks. The colourist is AMAZING. Ms. Marvel was once again a delight. And Veil came to a very satisfying conclusion. Rucka crafted a really cool supernatural horror story and the art was extraordinary.

Loki: Agent of Asgard #7 - A really good story. This marks one of the few times I found myself in agreement with Odin.
Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-Man #6 - Interesting how Peter Parker seems to have lost confidence in being a superhero and Miles has gained it. Exciting battle sequence. Best line of the week was in this issue (while Miles is fighting Norman Osborne).
Ms. Marvel #9 - "Embiggen fists of rage!" What could be better? A little exposition heavy, but still a fun book.
Lumberjanes #7 - I found myself humming the theme song to Mission Impossible during the first sequence. This issue, like Ms. Marvel, was a little exposition heavy. Also, the Lumberjanes, for some reason, ignore some significant holes in Diane's story, but it was again a fun read (if not the strongest issue of the series).
Deadpool's Art of War #1 - This had my favorite cover of the week. Deadpool is a hit or miss for me (more miss than hit), but I really enjoyed his take on a classic text of military strategy. Also, the page where he's trying to figure out which villain to approach had me in stitches.
...and the 90's Nostalgia Cover of the Week goes to : Batman Eternal #28! (Well, okay, maybe not that bad, at least there was a distinct lack of pouches and it was drawn well).
