I'm sure the show will be good. I know it will. But I can't help but feel let down by that costume. Considering Marvel have been dead on with adapting the costumes to the screen it seems strange that they'd make such a drastic change. That being said I'm holding out that this will be a proto-suit and there will be an updated one further on in the first season. Still, black ninja suit? The Ben Affleck suit was better.

Well actually they're still pretty accurate. The ninja costume is a pretty accurate version of the pre-Daredevil costume from Frank Miller and JrJr's Man Without Fear mini. Anyways I imagine it'll be an early costume, something that vaguely resembles the costume he will go on to wear , similar to Ollie in the first episode of Arrow, or the Vigilante costume in Amazing Spider-Man or the Wrestler costume in Rami's Spider-Man. Or even the first Iron Man and Cap costumes. We'll probably get this for a couple of episodes then move onto something that more closely resembles the classic costume.

Yeah I think I was a little trigger happy with this post. Not long after, I remembered Man Without Fear and felt a bit stupid. I think I'm just bummed it wasn't a reveal of the finished suit. Been keen to see anything from this show for a while now.

I'm really curious why they're being so secretive about the final costume. Plot details and so on I understand. Nobody wants to go into a show knowing every detail. But in comparing it to every other Marvel property, they don't exactly have a track record for subtlety. Every character is marketed and promoted by their look and costume. Seems strange to have a show about a superhero with no real superhero as the posterboy. Then again it is the first MCU movie to be about secret identities and street crime and everything is dark so it could just be keeping in line with that. Daredevil isn't really a kids superhero so its not like they have to market him for toys.
Looks like I just answered my own question.

I've been thinking all this time that it was going to be 8 episodes, for some reason, but when I looked it up last night it turns out it's gonna be 13! Assuming that's an hour an ep, right? Likely? Suffering Sappho, that's a whole-lotta DD. So looking forward to April 10th
