I saw it today and liked it. I have always been more of a fantasy than hard sci-fi fan, so the emotional beats and more fantastical elements didn't bother me. I thought the visuals in space were amazing and I loved the robot TARS. I thought the robot designs were really interesting. Ultimately although the film had a few holes I enjoyed it and found it hopeful and emotionally affecting.
Finally got to see it last night . . man, whew. I wasn't 100% sure about it in the first act, but by the time the credits rolled I was pretty blown away, I must say. Damn impressive a motion picture; loads and lightyears better than Gravity, which seems the obvious and natural comparison. Really, really glad I caught it in the theaters before it got bumped. Nolan . . I have my issues with him from time to time, but he reasserts himself as a masterful filmmaker with startling regularity. Thumbs up
