Another excellent podcast episode this week, gang! I loved the interview with Marguerite Bennett! As an aspiring comics scribe myself, I never tire of hearing other writers talk about their process and projects! As I heard her tell her tale of breaking into the comics industry, I felt hopeful and inspired as an artist. Every writer and artist has a different story about how they managed to get into the biz, proving that in most cases, it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Kudos on another great installment of TC!

Kudos on another great installment of TC! Thanks so much, Thanos! Marguerite was awesome, wasn't she? I'm very excited for all the projects she has lined up, and at such a young age, too! I expect that we'll be seeing some great things from her.

I'll be honest... I didn't care for Marguerite Bennett prior to hearing this episode of the show. The few things I've read of hers just didn't gel with me entirely. However, after hearing your interview with her, she's one writer I'll definitely check out next time I see one of her projects on the shelf, especially if it's horror-related. Any writer that I hear about that loves horror immediately has my attention and Marguerite is on my radar now.
Also, I put way too much thought into the question about going out with a superhero over the last few days. I'd probably wait until Stephanie Brown is of legal drinking age and then take her out for a night of bar hopping, followed by a trip to the local IHOP at 2AM for some waffles. Yeah, that's a dream night.
And the character and creator I'd love to share a beer with, the first ones that pop into my head are Silver Surfer and Mike Allred. I'd introduce the Surfer into all types of local and foreign brews while Allred is in charge of the juke box all night.

Thanks for answering my question about the reasons you love comics guys. Really insightful! I have started a thread on the general discussion board about this to hopefully get other forum users to do the same

Going in, I had very little desire to sit through an interview with Marguerite Bennett as i've never read anything of hers and knew little of her and her work other than hearing the name thrown around now and again, but by the time the interview part of the episode came around, i'd decided to give it a minute or two to see what she's like and what she had to say, and i'll be damned if I not only listened to the whole thing, rapt, but I came out the other side wanting so very badly to read her stuff. What a delightful personality. Good on ya, one and all; great interview.
