Another great issue, loved how Peter was quick to make Otto think he is a younger version of him in order to get him to work with everyone....sad about Spider-Monkey and Cosmic Spider-Man (although the last one I was expecting to do the sacrificing part by the penultimate chapter). Solus is truly terrifying and now we know who is the Scion.
Team-Up was SOOOOO GOOOODDDD!!! I loved the Miles-Ultimate Cartoon-60's Cartoon Spider-Men sequence! So hilarious!

What I'm enjoying about this is we're seeing the slow push to our Spidey being the hero of his own book again. So often in the past few years, he's had to defer to the Avengers or another guest star, and most recently Silk, where they are the hero, and he does little more than sit on the sidelines and wait for his day to be saved. I love that we saw him put Otto in his place. I've really been missing the Peter Parker of old, and Spider-verse really seems to be about getting him back to the forefront. There is a reason he is the most beloved and marketable superhero out there, and it's about time he gets the respect in his own book he deserves.

I died when Young Peter called the cartoon Spider-Man "Spider mad men" also the spider Gwen story was really touching. I i wish we could see more of the Goblin Spider-Man

Scarlet Spiders #2 was a good issue and interesting to see that the whole "why do the Inheritors just clone them and be done with it" argument was explained, which also shows us that Ben, Kaine and Jessica are unique and special in the Multiverse.
I haven't read Spider-Woman this week...how was it? (in relation to Spider-Verse)

It's nice to see the "real" Parker step up his game. I really enjoyed Superior and Slott's stories leading up to the switch, but up till now Peter's return has been flat. Finally, it's starting to feel like spidey's back.

So this issue of Amazing got us moving and a nice twist at the end...also....JAPANESE SPIDER-MAN AND LEOPARDON!!!! THAT WAS AMAZING (pun intended)!!! Also loved the team that Miles and Ultimate Cartoon gathered!
Onto Spider-Man 2099, another nice issue.....and it was nice to see certain 2099 character show up!

Loved this issue, not to saturate the Spider books but I would LOVE to get a Punk / Anarchist Spider-Man ongoing (or if not get a Spider-Verse anthology/team-up book showcasing other Spider-Men). Also interesting to see the "Renew Your Vows" Spider-Man in the last story (the fact we got a look at his wedding ring and the "you will see one of these Spider-Men in the summer" makes me believe is that).

FYI for anyone reading the last issue of x-factor... there is some spider-verse content in there, or at least some call backs... my copy went on the shelf until I finish the event.

Been loving the Scarlet Spiders. Maine's recent series was great but Ben Reilly was my Spider-Man back in the day from Scarlet Spider to his death.
Seeing him back in action in any form has been fun and I hope for more.

seems like there was a hint about that in one of the last couple issues. If I recall correctly didn't Mayday say her uncle Ben was Ben Reilly?

I think in Mayday's universe and continuity Ben Reiy was her Uncle Ben that died. That's why she wears a version of his Spider suit.

I believe so as well.....anyways, good to get back to Lady Spider's Universe (hopefully it survives Secret Wars) and I'm glad that certain someone/thing is back in action!!!

Maybe Bob can you weigh in but I just realized that Tom DeFalco was the writer during the Clone Saga and I wonder how he felt around that time. While many don't like that era of Spider-man, it seems like Reilly could have been a viable character and it seems like the Spider-Girl series may have been DeFalco trying to continue the legacy of the work he did on that character.

Bobby, I was so annoyed when hearing that the previous decade of Spider-Man stories that I had read did not feature Peter Parker, I not only stopped reading the title, but I sold off my entire collection. Granted, it didn't include Amazing Fantasy #15 or Spider-Man #1, and it was sorta light on the first 10 issues (they had been traded for FF issues back in the Sixties), but I thought I was making a statement nonetheless. I don't hold it against Mr. DeFalco (well, maybe a little) as things did revert, and his Spider-Girl is one of my all-time favorites, as seen by this article about May "Mayday" Parker.
